Expanded List of Indonesian Vehicles - Ground

Finally finished my ID Humfox suggestion, its now in pending o7

Some interesting Budget Allocations provided by KERIS

  1. Budget Allocation for the Marine Corps’ Self-Propelled Air Defence Vehicle is 12 million USD

already in the greenbook, so it had been approved by the financial ministry, meaning its more or less final.

relatively low-budget so either some cold-war relic or other nonsense

  1. 150 Million USD for the BrahMos Coastal Defence Missile system (40x missiles, 4x launchers)

this one was mentioned to be at a standstill, the budget is there its just hasnt been triggered yet

So what candidate for marine SPAA? Knowing what kind of heavy equipment marines use it’s probably from either Belarus, Russia or China

almost certainly wouldnt be anything heavy nor noteworthy. Some people theorized it as Shilkas, but others say it most likely just a truck with aa missile, like the one used by kopasgat or yonarhanud. I think the most likely option is the latter

but it could very well be a light tank as well, the BVP-2 is classified as an SPAA by the Marine Corps, so its not too far fetched that it could be another light tank

problem is for 12 million is very low, so the options are obviously going to be limited

approved! Check it out!

just curious is lightweight Howitzer like LG1 is able to be fired from PTS or it’s impossible with major modification?.

not clear but most likely its just used as a transport

from general observation the crew area to operate the gun is limited, braces are not extended, and even if it was firing it on a amphibious lightly armored tincan may damage the hull.

If it can be fired from the vehicle surely we would have some footage of that, but majority of firing videos of the LG-1 is from soft-terrain

i think with some mod at minimum it’s could be done much like various guns portee on MT-LB

or at least something like Type 94 Truck (Type 41) in suggestion post

well if you can give good enough of a argument it could be added.

There are many vehicles that firing the gun will break the vehicle in time but sometimes it does not matter and wont matter in game.

I wouldnt compare a 75mm WW1 era dinky mountain gun to a 105mm modern howitzer

The key problem is it cannot be fully deployed. The LG-1 needs to have the braces between the wheel extended as well (you can see it in the photo on the right)

its not like we even know it can be modded or even fired on the chassis, so what we’re doing is entirely guesswork. unless we have some form of the gun being shown deployed or being mentioned to be able to fire on the chassis, it unfortunately will remain as fictional

True but those are dedicated vehicles though. The only vehicle i can think of where its just “slap x onto y” ingame is the BTR-ZD, and even then it still has mounts & braces

Bosvark and Yastervark both are ground mounts affixed to a truck, but they’re positively attached and it’s intended to be fired from the truck

i was more so focusing on the “makeshift” element of it, the fact that it has just wires and logs holding it down in place

Should have used zip ties more effective

I think the LG-1 gun has a future in game with infantry it looks like it can be pushed around and be easily set up plus the emergency ability for line of site fire. Could use it a a push gun of sorts if Gaijin wants that kind of thing.

Would be funny to have fortified a building in infantry mode and someone setting this up outside as a siege gun.

After years compiling Indonesian sub TT vehicle, i’m surprised no one try to make how Indonesian sub TT look like in JP TT, both Ground and Aircraft.

Haven’t touched ground yet, but air. Also note that ** xyz ** are hypothetical and * xyz * ordered but not delivered.

On that note, what’s Harimau max reverse speed? Definitely not 5 km/h right? Lol

not stated, but it uses the Allison/Caterpillar X300 full automatic transmission with 4x forwards & 2 reverse, so its mostly going to be close to the CV90 series at ~30-40 kph
