You say this but, when comes down to the Senrai series, instead of reusing a TT or event vehicle, you reused a premium one that was already widely available.

The additions were lazy and were basically another way to sell something with little to no work behind it.
You can still do it but offering something more valuable to the players:

USSR: Instead of the T-80U-E1 why not try a T-72B3A with 3BM46.

Germany: Instead of the Leopard 2A4M why not a Leopard 2A5 with KE-W or DM43.

USA: Instead of the M1A1 HC do the M1A2 or even better the AGS (I do have it and I’m totally fine in more people playing it).

UK: Instead of the Challenger 2 OES why not the standard Challenger 2 to have a somewhat faster option.

Japan: Instead of the FOURTH Type 90, the TKX (P) could’ve been a more interesting choice.

With China you used the MBT-2000 at least instead of the Al-Khalid and unfortunately all the other possibilities were already used up for other prems or squadron.

So for the next batch I propose:

Italy: Either the Centauro I 120 or the Centauro II (P) but with CL3143 only

France: Either a Leclerc Series 1 with OFL 120 G1 only or the MSC

Sweden: I think the only solution is the CV90120-T

Mind you that I sticked to really high BRs.
Few way more interesting ideas could be:
T-72M2 Moderna, Boxer MGS or PT-16, CCVL or M60 AMBT, Vickers Mk 7, ZTZ99-III, Ariete(P), AMX-40 or Vextra, Strf 9040 BILL, Sabra Mk1.

Overall please experiment more, especially ordnance wise.

Not sure where you got that list from, but it’s plain wrong. Or at least made by someone that can’t tell their ass from their elbow and claims vehicles as copies because they’re variants of the same family.

Taking Japan for example (because that’s what I mostly play), the only copies of the past five updates are the Me-210, AH-64DJP AT, Type 61 (B), AH-64E, M163, M60A3 TTS, Mi-35 and the F/A-18D (arguing the twin seat configuration doesn’t actually do much in terms of gameplay). That might sound like a lot, but out of 29 vehicles this is only 8, or 27.5%. Add to that that some of these would be unique if they were added right (mainly the Thai M163A1 and Mi-35 that’s supposed to have Indonesian modifications) while three of these are intentionally copied premiums that’s really not that much, and obviously nowhere near the 60% this chart claims.

Japan is kinda stuck as the vast majority of its vehicles have been implemented so it’s somewhat understandable that they’re going this route. Japan, Israel and Sweden are arguably the nations that actually needs subtree as their own pool of vehicles are drying up. But that doesn’t justify the mass duplication of vehicles in those subtrees though.

I’m still pretty salty about Oplot going to China not gonna lie. Trial vehicles like it or the Swedish T80/Apache/Mi-28 should simply not be added to the game in my opinion, [especially when the Oplot the Pakistani tested wasn’t even in this configuration…](disregard the part in the brackets, I was wrong)
Way to make the Thai subtree immediately less appealing by needlessly copy pasting it to another tree for no good reasons.

The Oplot they tested was in this configuration, but it was never meant to be adopted like this. It was only the available test vehicle that was used as the basis for the Oplot-P, a unique variant of the Oplot developed and built for Pakistan. This is what should’ve been added instead if the tank we got.

Yeah, with premium and even vehicles people want unique stuff when THEY can get it, but then get upset when they miss an even and other people have unique stuff they don’t, the F-14D I think was a double blow as the initial plan was to remove a bunch of iconic weapon systems to keep it’s BR down (like USA premium players wont manage that on their own).
The strangest one though is the F-101C Voodoo situation right now… An interesting unique vehicle IN THE TT and there are multiple threads complaining about it, and there isn’t even any thing brocen or bugged, they are just upset that it’s not some Frankenstein hybrid of the B an C models with both missiles and guns (guns that where removed to fit the missiles btw). If I was Gaijin seeing that I would defiantly be “well if thats how you feel about it… copy paste it is”

The VT4 is already in Chinas Tree same as VT4A1. Both are utter garbage and Gaijin isn’t even giving them their ERA at the Side. Imagine them adding in a T-Series Tank for USSR without its ERA at the Side.

Thats literally every Nations Community. And CN is probably the last Nation Gaijin is catering too especially when compared to USA/USSR/Germany who get handheld like Crazy and still are the ones crying the loudest when they already not just get the best but also always the first ones to get Stuff whereas others, including China btw, often just get Slop and have to wait years just to get basic Stuff which isn’t even an question for main three to get from the get-go. Like if you only knew how garbage and how much missing Chinas Vehicles are…

The problem with the VT4 was an way more complicated issue and is like the one single only time Gaijin listened to the complaints of Chinas Playerbase and all of a sudden they are now apparently having an China-bias. Wonder what you would say if Gaijin added the Oplot to USSR Tree…

Why do you have to research Israel if you want to play Greece? That makes much much less sense than having to research US to get a US export vehicle in your Greek tree.

Domestic vehicles you can just research in the Greek tree? We’re talking about export vehicles originating from another major nation… You know, the copy-paste stuff this forum topic and post was actually about (duplicate vehicles)

In my opinion, Greek SHOULD get a home (its own tree!!!). Currently, it does not have a home.

I’m not advocating to remove minor nations (!!!). The complete opposite. There should be dozens of minor nations and they should get their own trees. Currently you can’t even have dozens and dozens of minor nations because where would you ‘house’ them?

Almost everyone plays a major nation. So that provides a convenient ‘side-entry’ into minor nations trees. In my opinion, if you already have an F-4 phantom research, it should be a small additional research to get the skins and be able to play these vehicles you already researched into minor nations trees. NOT the full 400k RP or even a full tree research

I need to grind months and months for this? And even grind Israel, a nation I have no interest in?
Just to get a different vehicle skin and flag in battle? (because thats what it basically IS).

not to mention we also put some of the first if not the first laser guided bombs onto phantoms (it was a mk117 demolition bomb with a early form of guidance kit, yet we are still stuck with a early F-4E and no F-4D/F-4G in sight, such an iconic aircraft yet stuck with the bare bones versions even though it was operated in the US and upgraded to use LGBs and have the camera in the wing similar too the kurnass 2000

most of us dont mind copy paste premiums but you can just add a subtree in instead of making a copy paste tech tree

copy paste premiums are must as unique premiums leave us with for example the pucara locked behind a paywall
