I mean, I see your point; people grind whatever vehicles they find interesting, and not everyone finds the same vehicles interesting. And in the case of Sweden/Finland, they may just not anything better. It’s not impossible for the Humu to come this way, though I still feel it would be regarded as the least interesting DCT vehicle by a large margin. Though maybe that’s largely due to Finland not being as popular as other nations in game.
Still doesn’t change the fact that the O-I was hard denied by the developers themselves. It’s not coming.
Honestly, given that early Cold War has been in the game for a while, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if something from the late 40s-early 50s eventually makes it as a DCT, if it’s been requested for a long time.
Definitely fits the bill for a DCT vehicle in terms of uniqueness. May even fit the popularity requirement, as it seems like just the kind of thing people would bring up many years ago on the old forums. A solid candidate, unless the absence of surviving photographs and the fact that the prototype wasn’t complete impede its addition to the game.
This was definitely another possibility that came to mind when considering a DCT vehicle without assuming no repeated nations. Absolutely fits the bill in terms of uniqueness and popularity.

That’s the thing what comes to Sweden if we aren’t leaving the WW2 ERA? nothing, it’s just kind of the wall the argument has backed itself into by keeping the idea that only majority know and want while keeping it in WW2. (I mean naval does exist but given it’s not in game I refrain from listing stuff)
We could just skip Sweden and redo other nations like Russia or the US ect ect

Probably the best option lol Sweden and the smaller nations par like maybe France and Italy don’t exactly have a lot of the silly and weird dreams come true planes/tanks for the WW2 era
Which may end up happening, as you yourself mentioned above that Smin apparently stated not every nation would get a DCT vehicle.
Yeah, I’m sure there might be something the swedes would claim fits but I don’t know it, most of my knowledge is cold war vehicles, if DCT extends into later years then there’s plenty but realistically for WW2 ERA I don’t see many things aside from the ISU-152V planned IFV from Finland. I doubt our bike with a 20mm would count lol, but it is silly.
But again it’s obscure as hell and nobody knows about it. Personally I’m not really gonna pretend I’m upset if gaijin doesn’t give the Nordic nations a DCT vehicle, if anything it just means we either don’t get the vehicle or we get it as a prem or TT and not FOMO (let’s be real it’ll probably still be FOMO lol)
what’s the difference with the Bkan 1C ?
Earlier Bkan 1A turret with the crane, more engine HP so better mobility and the chassis is the Kranvagn chassis but striped down a bit, more armor than the current chassis.
Gameplay wise a slightly more armored Bkan with better mobility

I would suggest Cant Z.511, especially after recent bombers DM rework, when it comes to Italy. Also maybe something more modern like Draco or Centauro 155/39.
The Z.511 is definitely an interesting plane, though even with the bomber rework, I wouldn’t expect it for DCT. Not sure it fits the popularity requirement anyway. Neither would I expect modern additions such as those you listed, as they wouldn’t have had the chance to be as highly requested or requested for as long as WWII-era additions. Hence, DCT is typically focused on WWII stuff.
I mean vehicles I listed are pretty much high requested, maybe not at the same degree as vehicles from most popular nations, but at this point you can basically exclude anything which is not from “big 3” and maybe UK.
THAT would be a peak addition! Or something similar. Insane reload mortar that cant defend itself when pushed but can lob giant bombas from spawn on top of the map.
