Unique? Sure. But given that it appears, at a glance, to look just like an F2A, I personally would say it’s not unique enough for DCT, not to mention that I’m not sure it’s been highly requested enough, or requested for as long.
True, I could definitely see it showing up as a normal event cycle or battle pass reward. Just not as a DCT reward.
It’s based on the Buffalo, it’s one of 3 VL aircraft that are domestic fighters in Finland, it’s literally the most requested WW2 aircraft for Finland given the Pyor is premium and the Myrsky is event. The Humu is Finlands last chance to have a TT domestic aircraft which is why it’s perfect for gaijin to screw us by making it another event lol. As for flight performance it’s not similar to the F2A, stronger engine and 2 50 cal with slightly different parts on it.
(Worse flight performance tho lol, Russian engines sucked and the modded wings and fuel storage being moved killed it’s flight performance as a replacement for the Buffalos.)
Still want it, it’s purpose was to give Finland a replacement for the Buffalos because of aircraft shortages, so the vehicle is based on what pilots would be familiar with.
I see what you’re saying. However, as a DCT vehicle, there are a couple issues:
- Finland is a subtree of Sweden, and so any DCT vehicle for Finland would have to compete in popularity with any viable DCT candidate for Sweden.
- Despite its undoubtedly unique characteristics, I fear the average player would take one look at the thing and ask, “Why are we getting a Buffalo for Dreams Come True?”, and many wouldn’t grind it because it’s “boring.” I don’t feel it has the popularity or uniqueness sufficient to justify its introduction as a DCT reward.
That being said, it definitely should come to the game at some point, and I do agree that it would work well as a tech tree vehicle, since indigenous Finnish designs have been (almost?) entirely implemented as premium/event vehicles.

Tbf with that argument 99% of players would just say any vehicle not on the TT they play is not good enough for DCT.
I didn’t grind the KV-7, or the Pancake because I personally don’t think they are worth my time, (did get the pancake profile banner cause it’s fire as hell) the Tog and Sturm imo are far better and more interesting vehicles. But I think they fit the role of DCT vehicles, now that the convo is mainly under the premise of WW2 you’ve locked Sweden out of literally anything. Kranvagn is post WW2 (1955 to be more exact), doesn’t fit DCT. Finland has stuff that can fit for DCT, sure it’s not as crazy but it’s something.
Besides of the average player what do they know about Sweden? They know the Kranvagn and that’s about it. Few players know anything else.
Not that I think the version with a 20 pndr could realistically be added

A few other German players helped trying to see if it was German but all German examples feature a different front plate design.

Nah, that’s the standard Sturmi, this thing is completely different, it follows the standard armor of the later Sturmis but it has this extended bottom plate armor
