Dreams come true wishful thinking.
Don’t bring any trash of a vehicle until they fix the trash they call game.
Fix gameplay, fix balance , fix bugs etc.
The game is worse than 2013 in quality…

Don’t play it then.

The O-I is a real tank, it was tested without its turret before the Japanese surrender, we have statements from the engineers and observers that were there that day as well. We also have its track link in a museum, and its data and blueprints and tests etc. are all held by Finemolds in Japan, Wargaming got access to this data, Gaijin can as well

Unfortunately doesn’t change the fact that the developers hard denied it, as I mentioned in the first post of this thread.

Northtrop YB 49 would be really cool. Shame that the last one also was an American aircraft, since then its unlikely for the Northtrop YB 49, for the foreseeable future.

Surely you are mistaken

Japan is likely as are all the other nations who have yet to receive a dreams come true event vehicles, to receive one.

With the vehicle being requested by the community, although that in of itself does not guarantee it, makes it more likely.

I’m really hoping for the O-I tank to come to the game as a ‘Dreams Come True’ event vehicle

You understand passed means absolutely nothing. Stuff can be passed and denied see su47 or EAP

I responded to the guy saying it had been denied, which it obviously has not.

I made no statement where I expressed differently. I only asserted that the popularity of the vehicle and the fact its was not rejected gave it credence that it could happen.

Its as if I have to repeat myself

It’s pretty denied 🤷‍♀️ there’s not enough information for it lmao

We are caught in a standstill, when we can both produce public statements that contradict each other. You got any date and link on the statement you are showing? If mine or yours is older than the other it could provide evidence for a change in stance.

But you still have to deal with the fact that the vehicle is listed as ‘considered’

Again means nothing. Passed to devs does not mean a vehicle can come it’s a completely different team lmao.

And this “considered” is a impossibility due to lack of information. What here don’t you understand lmao

Right well if you are right, that would be a shame. But I would not be so sure about yourself. Gaijin has a recent history of walking back on some of their statements

They do but also the O-I doesn’t have much information about it to support a addition lol as of now unless there’s more information it’s impossible 🤷‍♀️

Thats a fair point, I would not want Gaijin adding vehicles that they have to do, too much guess work on. I dont want another WOT.

The O-I documents are held by Finemolds in japan, the O-I in WOT is actually accurate because back in the day when wargaming added it, they WENT TO FINEMOLDS to see the documents firsthand and based their O-Is on those documents, all of their O-Is are historically accurate, this was way back in the day when WOT also didnt have crazy paper vehicles.

80% next update 5th gen

Smin has stated the O-I cannot come due to lack of information as recently as last month. See the second quoted statement from Smin at the beginning of this thread. Smin’s replies elsewhere in that thread (about the removal of the Ho-Ri’s from the tree) are also worth reading.

Further, Smin has stated himself that a vehicle suggestion being passed for consideration does not necessarily mean the vehicle is able to be added. See quote from Smin below:

Thus, the O-I is absolutely not coming this year at the very least, and can only come later if new information comes to light.

Rather, if Japan is indeed getting this year’s DCT vehicle, then I’m 99% certain it’s the Ki-64, as it’s the only other Japanese prototype that comes anywhere close to the O-I in terms of popularity, and it itself is more popular than any other viable option by a decent margin. It’s a long-time request by Japan players dating back to over ten years ago, and it certainly qualifies for implementation to the game (prototype built (and flown), with surviving photographs).
