Dance of Dragon - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Reminds me of Jaguar a bit, does it not?

Next week is the likely date for the patch right?

Yeah, normally early to mid September counting 1/2 weeks after dev server close, plus when dev blog gets to around 20% of the expecting vehicles that’s time.

Why? The game is more ace combat than realistic.

Which is realistic though the AIM120C should poop all over the R-77 and the AIM120D poops all over the R-77M

So dev server is closed until patch? Sad. I was hoping to actually see Amagi before submitting bug reports.

didn’t know the Fat-15 tanks had different versions

Imagine that, but instead of combining all nations it’s just select nations…

R77M has similar capabilities to AIM120C7 at least, no idea how 120D works. I feel like China and Russia vs NATO nations have a weird gap where when NATO have good stuff, CN/ RU equivalence are weak and the other way round apply, R27 vs AIM7, AIM120 vs R77 R73 vs AIM9M so on…

And Germany will already have a Leopard 2AX with an automatic loader and a 130mm Rheinmetall cannon

With how production is currently going for them? Yeah I doubt that. Hell Germany’s 2A8 won’t enter service until 2027ish.

The development is hidden from the eyes of people. As quietly as DM73 took over and appeared. And soon there will be DM83

2A8 as I understood it, mostly for export, 2AX for myself.

According to the publication, despite joint efforts with France in the development of the main battle tank of the future (MGCS), Germany is actively working on its own alternative, which can “challenge” partnerships. This alternative is called the Leopard 2AX, which is an improved version of the Leopard 2A8 main battle tank. The development of a new combat vehicle is being carried out as part of a special order from the Bundeswehr.

The project of the new tank was shrouded in mystery until recently. It [the tank] should become an intermediate link between the Leopard 2A8, already in service, and the promising Franco-German MGCS. The development of a new model is a backup option for Germany, a kind of plan “B”, in case of failure of a joint project or even a lever of pressure on France in future negotiations. Having its own developments, Germany can influence important decision-making.

Technologically the West are going to dominate the game.
AESA Radars, superior BVRAAM missiles (excluding the potential for the R-37M)
Superior airframes. We are going to have to artificially buff or hold back NATO aircraft to give Russia and to a lesser extent China a chance. I’m not fanboying it’s just how it is
