They should just remove crew lock from single-crew modes and reward any crash that happens later than 2 minutes into the match to the closest enemy.
It’s lazy to go after bombers anyways and no need to spam missiles at something that has the structural integrity of a Jenga tower after 10 turns anyways, a quick burst will disintegrate it.
If it does happen it sucks, but I highly doubt it happens often enough that everything should be considered a kill.
Have you ever played top tier? It happens all the time. As soon as a player is approached by a missile that he knows he can’t shake, he slams into the ground or rips his wings off.
And what does he gain from that? He still has the same repair costs, but now he also has an additional crew lock. He gains nothing. His stats are affected the same way by all forms of death, but by crashing on his own, he has the certainty that the enemy now is down at least one missile and commited to a target that he ultimately didn’t get.
There is no gain except spite.
He gets a lot more repaircost from it actually, because top tier games last like 2 minutes aside from the flying part you tend to pay less than full repair, but if you die yourself you have to pay full repair regardless of lifetime.
Ok so reply to where I told you how this doesn’t matter
Why? This was not a reaction to any of your posts. Follow the linked conversation to see what my post was referring to.
because you’re using this as an excuse to say that they shouldn’t remove crew lock
Removing crew lock would be fine for me if every death is credited to another player.
Why not just take tickets off the enemy
because there’s no downside to awarding the kill
Exactly. The only “downside” is for players who want to be toxic.
I will from now on
You have to do that when you want to prevent abuse of system. Ask any post-communist country xD
Yeah crew lock is sus. We need some new hip system no cap tbqh. Something bussin and new!
It is already giving the kill to the opponent when someone crashes close enough to an enemy, even if the opponent didnt touch it.
Why are you here arguing and advocating more punishment on others? Do you have a condition?
A kill literally means that a kill credit is entered against the player.
G.91R/3 and F-35 Sabre examples are not kills, just “crash”.
Whatever the reason for the death of that F-35 Sabre, he should have got a crew lock as long as the maneuver kill or whatever counts as a crash.
I crashed when playing vautour bomber and it gives the kill to an opponent nearby so he gets the reward.
What else do you want? Do you like to see others suffering? Do you enjoy that uh?
In that case, he should be fine because he probably damaged to you.
If you got crew lock, that is another issue, such as a bug or somethings.
The problem is that all those examples are counted as crashes, not KILLS.
He didnt, your examples are probably outdated.
You can send server replay because I have never seen these cases before?
This is fully incorrect, don’t know why you’d think this. Only applies to J outs.
That said, yeah, easy fix.
He did, otherwise you wouldn’t have got it. He could have also had fired an AAM recently at you as this would also cause it.
