Well since you helped me, look I’m sorry for shit talking you but it’s frustrating to have so many trolls only come here to start shit and start shit talking for no reason. Nobody here likes when they get crew locked when they rip (and EVERYBODY here does it sometimes) but they use this as an excuse to belittle and attack others because you know, internet anonymity.
This is the equivalent to saying “If I punched you in the jaw randomly, it’s your choice to get upset.”
In this case, you are literally punching yourself in the cheek…
No. The punishment’s is not random.
More like:
If I steal your wallet.
You punch me in the jaw.
Now I am upset you punched me in the jaw, but that is on me.
If I steal your wallet, again.
You punch me in the jaw, again.
Now I am upset you punched me in the jaw, but that is on me.
I want to change the rules so OP cant punch me in the jaw, but I want to be able to steal his wallet.
This doesn’t matter. You said it’s my choice to be frustrated. That is some malarky.
Let me remind you, and for everyone in the back I’ll say it loud.
VIEO GAME
It has no requirement to be frustrating and there is no need for a crew lock.
I don’t want to be frustrated in VIDEO GAME so, all enemy rounds should spark when they shot at me?

Have you played the F4D or the F8U-2?
There have been probably half a dozen times in the past 6 months where I’ve wingripped the F8U-2 even while babying it through turns.
No because I mostly play old top tier jets such as Sabres and MiGs, etc.
Alright so it seems like you aren’t seeing the other end of the argument though. Higher tier jets have a nasty habit of ripping. The Phantoms absolutely will wing rip if you do goofy shenanigans in them.
When the F-86 had an old flight model, you could easily rip the wing by pulling too hard like that video.
And that issue was more pronounced for the F-40 Sabre and CL-13B Mk. 6 having wing slats.
I have been playing F-86 long before the change to the current FM and often rip wings when I was a much worse player than current days, but over time I have learned how to play F-86 and I rarely break wings with it anymore. And I rather miss the old FM because old one had faster roll.
And I have never broken a wing in my FGR.2 and F-4F in these years, partly because I learned how to play the Jet RB with the F-86.
Fair enough, although I still agree with OP when it comes to wing rips.
It’s hella annoying to deal with in planes that tend to have weaker wings.
If you talked shit and got punched in the jaw, that’s on you. Nobody else.
If people weren’t crew locked they would be purposefully milling themselves to get out of things like full uptiers a lot more often
People have all the ability to do that already and regardless wing ripping is 10,000x more ocmmon
And people will do it regardless, I never once wanted to leave a game and didn’t because of crew lock.
They have the ability to crew lock themselves yes. That’s the system working how it’s intended.
If crew locking was removed people would dip from matches at the start over and over until they got ones they liked, that’s the problem Gaijn wants to avoid. Not saying they didn’t go a bit too far with how long the crew lock is, and maybe it should be able to grant a “pass” to those with packet loss or ping crashes.
It’s a punishment system for doing it. It’s there for a reason and your fulfilling its purpose when you do it. With some players however it does disincentivize people from doing it, even if your not one of them.
It’s a punishment system that primarily punishes people who don’t need to be punished because Gaijin always assumes the worst from people and doesn’t mind punishing 100 people to get to the 10 that actually need to be.
Well the system does far more harm than good so it should be modified.
People already do that. This is also you guessing and not based on facts.
Yes as well as wing ripping…
