Crew locks absolutely shouldn’t be applied in accidental over pulling and connection issues that cause this, however if a some people decided to purposely exceed their vehicles maximum speed just to get out of a match then there’s a problem.

Anyway, I usually play 9.0BR jets and have seen tons of G.91Rat/4 players who rip wings many times because of their mistakes.
A few minutes in the crew lock is just the right time to think and learn why they rip wings.

Like I said earlier, compare in your head what you think the ratio is of people crew locking themselves by accident by wing ripping and then go think about how few times you’ve actually seen somebody kill themselves on purpose
Repair costs and crew locks are mechanisms the game uses to simulate risk and realistic behavior in the game.
Repair costs and crew lock are mechanics to control the economy, progression and simulate an annoying experience.
The only thing they can do is mildly annoy.
I’m glad a game developer is intentionally looking to annoy it’s players, Gaijin is sure grasping at every single opportunity to do so.
You know what else is simulating risk? The ability for your wings to rip.
You know what else is annoying? Your wings ripping.
No one needs punishment for dying in a game, because dying is the punishment, nobody wants to die and everybody wants to win, that is how every game functions just fine.
I can go play Dark Souls if I want to be punished for dying, and Dark Souls doesn’t even take away my currency and gives me a chance to recover it, but not the Snail.
I don’t really see any trolling. Just differing opinions.
One of the “funny” things about WT is that the players love to hate the game.

Well, if you don’t like crew locks by wing ripping, you can play AAB or SBEC.
I don’t play AAB really long time but, it should be still enjoyable.
It’s trolling when they turn “it’s frustrating to be learning an aircraft and get crew locked because you made a mistake” into “you’re bad and you should get good stop crying”

Is getting your wings ripped off not a skill issue?
It’s a troll to complain “I have a skill issue, please remove the crew lock to learn” ignoring the fact that there are other places to learn besides random battles, such as custom battles and test flights.

Just FYI, the game doesn’t have to be punishing in a frustrating way such as crew lock. If you think so, you’re probably under gaijin’s boot.
Yeah, because in some planes, you just get gaijined, not even wing ripping for a logical reason, also, as a help, in settings change your speedometer settings to IAS and SPD to get your wing rip speed, if you near it IAS will turn red.

The frustration is your coice. In the rare times I get crew lock I simply play another nation or quit the game. No frustration necessary.
