Well, that still makes sense since the program is literally only true or false.
WIng rips are 10000x more common to do by accident than on purpose.
But if it didn’t get a crew lock those numbers would change.
Stop focusing on changing rules that prevent abuse and instead focus on how to succeed within the rules that exist.
e.g. Play all nations, don’t rip your wings off, etc.

And people just rip their wings left and right for fun? They’re already punished with repair costs anyways as the premium insurance doesn’t cover it either.
Let people rip their wings if they want to, crew lock doesn’t stop it either way.

The wiki has exact G loading figures, as well as deflection.
The in-game-browser has CAoA and wing loading figures.
They have everything they need to fly their plane properly. If they don’t like being punished for flying improperly, they should think about moving to tanks.

Repair costs and crew locks are mechanisms the game uses to simulate risk and realistic behavior in the game. IE prudence and caution that they would use IRL. Since the Snail can’t actually kill players who opps in the game, the only thing they can do is mildly annoy.
Anyway, not (really) defending, just explaining why the snail does what the snail does, and how hard the problem really is.
What you ought to be pissed about is how Gaijin cripples you from “stock” which is where 99% of those wing rips happen ITFP.
