CAS second spawn multiplier reduction

Forget it mate. Those who play ground only for sitting in a plane asap will never admit, that many other players enjoy longer ground engagements without getting disturbed by toy-story airplanes on too small maps. I usually spend my time in ground rb shooting air-targets and yet I´d love a TO mode.

Literally no one plays GRB for planes.

Check this thread out then. At least one player does.

The very dead vehicle type

Every brained CAS will say that the game is too short for rearming/ low accuracy toss gameplay, map is too small for interception and A-G interaction, including the distance from AF/helipad to ground map. Ground map is also made into a way that there’s no hope to attack a tank outside of an SPAA spawn, and poor terrain arrangement is everywhere…

And CAP is well dead. Too dead.

@Leroy_Jinkens
Do you play GRB for the express purpose of flying planes, or is Herojure just being, well, his usual self?

This

Lol you talk about how useless spaa is at its so called job and vehicle ROLES…maybe its just your interpretation of its role thats bad… Maybe its ment for different playstyle than herr derr support teammates

I dont want to play tanks no one I know wants to play tanks all I see that want herr derr tank only mode is about a dozen guys on a game forum that has millions in its playerbase …you guys are the same type who go to city hall everyday and complain everyday till THEY get what they want at the rest of our expense all while acting like this wut da people want herr derr…

Punctuation makes things easier to read and understand. Give it a try.

Could you not play TD when I want to play heavy tanks?
Could you not play autocannons when I want to play missile carts?

lol

If I want to fly planes, I play air sim.

The only reason I play GRB or GSB is because I want to play tanks.

GSB at least has fun plane controls, but you can only play it like once per week.

GRB if you use sim controls and cockpit view you’re just screwed.

As a consequence, I basically stopped playing GRB since yak-9K APHE became a thing. One can simply look at my sessions since as evidence.

What’s so hard to understand in this?

It’s not hard. I don’t like RB planes. RB vs SB tanks is nearly indistinguishable past curated lineups. RB vs SB planes are two different games.

If you’re trying to summon someone who actually plays GRB for CAS. I’m already in this thread.

There are good air fights, less furballs, no nametags on the jets nor does it show missiles.
I have to dodge AA, take out the AA, eliminate helis. All things ARB doesn’t do.

What does this have to do with…

  1. me NOT wanting to fly a plane
  2. me wanting to play tanks

I really did not think my original message was that cryptic.

Never played sim. What does that mean?

So ironically, the one person that does, does it for the A2A, not the A2G.

I do it for both, thanks for assuming. I’ve recently been just playing CAP because of the MI-28NM LMUR and KH-38MT spam. Having my team of click baits deleted and them 1 death leaving needs to be delayed.

I started with an A-10, now that they moved the air spawn further out I play it a bit less. Top tier GRB air CAS is fun and I do enjoy that.

Ground sim you can’t just play whatever you want. There’s a rotating set of lineups that changes about daily. You cannot bring vehicles weaker or stronger, just precisely what’s listed.

This means if you want to say, grind a new tech tree out and unlock new vehicles and spade them you get 1 day/week to do so. This may end up one you cannot play on leaving you SOL. Even lineups are a mess as it’s not driven by BR. You can end up with a line up of say 5.0 tanks where half can be played one half of the week, half the other half of the week.

Consequently, you’re forced to play GRB if you actually want to make progress.

The goal is historical-lite matchups. Very lite because Germans usually spam premium KV-1s and T-34s which are for some reason allowed in a mode without name tags.

This contrasts air sim where the rotating BR brackets are just a suggestion - you can bring 3.7 or 4.0 planes into 5.7 and nobody’s gonna stop you. You just can’t bring higher BR lower. The rotating brackets work like 3.0-4.0, 3.3-4.3, 3.7-4.7, 4.0-5.0 and so on.

Tbf, your examples were all A2A. You kinda brought it upon yourself.

Guilty lol

ARB A2G is boring, low reward and static GRB A2G is exciting and chaotic

Appreciate the info.

So looks like, for me anyway, ground sim will NOT be a substitute for GRB.
