I do own and play IL-2:GB but the experience is not the same, at least on the servers I play, that and WT has more planes variety. Such as the pacific theater, he-162, a lot more italian fighter, ect.

I’d say someone who achieved mastery has the most valid example of aircraft performance, not someone who’d crash on take off.
It’s fairly playable without VR. Headtracking is much cheaper so worth a try! Or you can jury rig complex controls like I do for using keyboard for head controls. It takes a while to learn but it’s good enough ™.
No, they just shouldn’t have added the mi-28 on top of the Ka-50/52. Helicopters being too powerful hasn’t been an issue with any other nation.

No, my counter point was that a pro player killing someone whos bad at flying does not mean that plane is good. That’s like saying obj 211 is good cause som1 got a nuke in it.
It’s not a bad plane. It’s one of the best dogfighters for USA. It has incredible instantenous turn and serves excellent if you know how to use energy and trajectories.
Just because your idea of dogfighting is exhausted at turning like ring round the rosey does not make planes bad.
And Idaho faces off against plenty of people on his level.

Can you give water to your claims that the people Idaho fight are abhorrent? Remember, it’s done without instructor and autotrim so accuracy isn’t a relevant point. Give a breakdown of the dogfight itself and what you would have done differently in all the attached videos.

So, you have experience in the IL-8, which is 1.4 Tons heavier than the IL-2 (This is what an early monoplane weight), and you feel that commenting on the IL-2? Make sense for you I guess.

I honestly don’t know how you can be so bad at playing IL series planes. They outturn pretty much everything outside of spitfires and Japanese planes for the same reason the A-10A does.
