I don’t mind having disagreeing with me, it’s the whole point and goal of a forum. But when someone actively lies multiple times ignore most 90% of the arguments brought up to derail the topic as much as possible, it feels that it violate the guidelines.

Normally, when you reach a certain level of skill, you understand that instantaneous turn rate is important but far from the most important factor. If turn rate was this important biplanes and triplanes would realistic beat everything no?
Guys just a reminder that whole point of the Forums is to have conversation and to debate the statement not the user so that means in no terms are you to call people “CAS Haters” etc, as this brings nothing to conversation except trying to encourage or prolong an argument !

He made up bs strawmen saying I claimed to play the IL-2, immediately after I said I didn’t play the IL-2 and all of my experience was in the IL-8 (basically identical but heavier).

CAS main is simply stating that group of people prefers a playstyle, no emotions involved. No different to saying French main etc.

The difference is one is a derogatory term used by you (which means it’s ok) and the other is a term used against you (which means it’s not ok).
Any name or term that is being used to derail a conversation or being used to start argument as I stated above !

To further clarify, is saying “french main” offensive, if its merely used to describe a person with preference for playing france, assuming its appropriate in context of conversation?

It’s not about calling someone (x) main, it’s about using it to derail an argument. People who say “U.S. main” “Russia main” “Germany main” etc are saying it for a completely different purpose that saying “CAS main”
