Can we cool it down with the copy and paste Gaijin?

Im not sure if Gaijin implemented some sort of impossible vehicle quota for their devs or whatever but this copy and pasting vehicles into multiple tech trees and adding entire lines of reskinned vehicles when it isn’t necessary at all is getting ridiculous. The Hungarian ‘‘nation’’, the Benelux air line, dutch leopards, US Skink, and the Osa in every tech tree for some reason are incredibly blatantly lazy “additions” that benefit no one and are completely unnecessary.

Its getting really silly tbh, Gaijin should either stop doing this and simply just release less vehicles per update because copy and pasting them and thinking that is somehow making the update more worthwhile is just stupid, or they should at least tell us that those ‘‘additions’’ are just stopgaps to be slowly replaced in the future.

The Leopards are kindoff unavoidable since its the “Europe MBT” And most countries uses it nowadays. However other than that i 100% agree the additions have become pretty dumb…

Adding Leopards to a country who doesnt use it (France) and who doesnt need it (France) isnt right, they just keep destroying Germany exclusivity, now it has nothing no offer.
Germany Air? nothing special, Mig29 and F4 ICE
Ground? Leopards were the only thing making it good but now everyone gets one
Helicopters? nothing special, Eurocopter and you will find better options on other nations to create a better lineup with tanks + jet

why would someone pick germany to grind now?

The 2A7V+multiple backups, and the rest of the German tree outside the very top BR.

Italy has the same Leo2A7, we cant even have a top tier exclusive lol

Again because almost every european country now uses the Leopard 2, For good reason its a great tank. I can agree that france getting it was lazy. But again Considering Netherlands uses the Leopard 2, i say its a fair game thing. And i now see why they in reality added BeNeLux, Bc then they a excuse to to this type of thing. Id have another opinion if they made BeNeLux into a TT but for being a sub TT its quite dumb

This mostly depends on the Eurofighter being being “complicated” to add,

May I point you to anything that isn’t top-tier?

WW2 only/primarily players are real and we do exist.

BeNeLux would be a gret thing if implemented as a nation apart and not adding em to multiple nations like they doing now, they ruining nations exclusivity :p

Because I play Navel I need a good bomber that can kill a battle ship. Our gunners are so damed usless its better to just bomb and crash and move onto next game

Well mostly because of the WW2 stuff and The original Leopard 1s. And alot of the Exp TDs and some exclusive tanks here and there like the wiesel. Top tier in this game is just a mess, and i personally hate it. And id rather stick to the lower-mid tiers of this game.

Altough sweden getting a King tiger was questionable at best

Like me, I dislike top tier with alot of point on my checklist that just reminds me why i should never touch it again

Yeah ofc ww2 players exist and nations have their exclusivity there, but since top tier should be the REWARD for all the grind and since all updates are top tier focused, stills feels like a slap on the face to players like me who spent a lot of time (with no premium) to get Leopards and boom now i have to see how other nations get the same top tier vehicle i grinded a lot, and they can complement these Leopards with better options since they are on a different nation.

“Copy and paste” is actually a necessary part of the game.
It is just that Gaijin overdoes it. They have added too many sub-trees to copy and paste rather than paying attention to interesting domestic vehicles for each tech tree.

But not all copy-paste is bad. Think of playing a nation as playing the nation’s military experience, using all the vehicles that country used, domestically produced or not. At some eras, many countries have no choice but to use vehicles from other nations in their military. It’s a great way to let people experience interesting vehicles, for nobody has the time to grind out each tech tree. I don’t think people should always be unhappy because of the loss of exclusivity (ie many countries getting Leopard) if those tanks were actually sold to or used by the nation who is the primary tech tree.

I’m sorry, but don’t want other nations to get your stuff don’t export it. I have to deal with it myself with a vehicle the US uses that was exported to them(heck they try and claim it as something domestic of theirs when it is not).

Also arguing that top tier should be the reward kinda makes it sound like you want WW2 players sidelined and thrown out the window.

Understand this frustration, Felt the same about the JAS-39 for Sweden. However i have since dropped that grudge. Comparing it to the F-16 or F-15. Modern vehicles are made to be exported, especially NATO stuff, its made to not only be compatible but also gets a good tech bonus where NATO countries can share designs and improve a Tank. Like with the CV-90 vehicles that alot of Countries in Europe now uses. Hägglunds has taken what most countries wants. And kind of puts it all positives into one big good product.

Modern vehicles are company products that belong to a country. That’s the difference between ww2 vehicles, Cold war vehicles. And modern stuff. The availability to export and lack of sale restrictions. Has made making our own tanks much more expensive than just buying a already existing product and then improving it like Sweden did

This is already a problem, we don’t need it to get worse. At best we get 1-3 new ww2 vehicles per update if not just Copy-Paste. So id rather not we make it worse thank you. The Ush-204gk was fun the update it came out now ive lacked much of anything in the terms of ww2 Swedish stuff. That in itself is strange since there is alot of suggestions of ww2-cold war Swedish stuff, That can be said for most countries for a fact actually

Outside of naval(which as yet to leave WW2), we are allowed 1 new tech-tree WW2 vehicle an update. which is sad.

Only reason for this is probably the BR hurtle and Anti-ship missiles that would be horrible to implement. So thank god for that problem actually

Tho many of these “C&P” problems are coming from the issues with the sub-tree system itself. As currently sub-trees are being added as a quick way to buff host trees. And it’s clear as day they aren’t added for the nation that became a sub-tree itself. It’s why to me the sub-tree system is a failure, yes even South Africa(it was added to give the UK lights without making the UK lights as they’d be good vehicles).

many of these issues would be fixed if sub-trees where treated as their own tree and not sub-servant to the hots like they are right now. Something like this:
