By my information irl Su-27SM3, Su-30SM and Su-35S should have new HMDs since the “circle” is not used since 2016.
So they at least should have similar ones to MiG-35S, that’s why I am asking if it is already planned to add it to the game or not
there is no sources for anything besides the modern Fulrums being able to carry it

overall its pretty close
the biggest issue it currently has is that the lines going through it are always pointing up
and that the tip of the pull up arrow is solid

I assume the lines are of an artificial horizon.
from my understanding they are supposed to show your radar/irst search area

Oh I see, that’s much more useful.
that is why you dont see them in my screenshot, becasue they only show up when the radar or IRST are turned on

Isn’t there reports already for the Thai family of HMD-capable F-5’s to receive the respective DASH HMD?

its not being changed they already have JHMCS on the live server
and it seems like it was just a mistake on the datamine server, saying that it gets the scorpion

As you may have noticed, we have begun updating the radar pages in aircraft cockpits to their historical appearance.

Gone through the list and added:
[DEV] F-102 Lacks proper cockpit radar symbology
[DEV] MiG-35S IRST Lacking TV+IR Display for cockpit MFD
[DEV] MiG-35 Cockpit missing HMTDI-KOS sensor + monocle
-from the reports from the Sky Odyssey dev server.
Fixed issues from the list:
[DEV] Sea Harrier FA.2 missing radar lock HUD symbology (Don’t know if this was fixed in the current update or if I just missed it before)
JH-7A2 missing HMS reticle/reticle not showing up
List should be up to date now as of 16/09/2026
As always if there’s anything I have missed or that anyone thinks should be added then please feel free to let me know.
