That also kind of happens with all IAI rounds (I don’t think a firecracker exploding under your skin is healthy in the very short term) and basically all Incediary rounds with to AP, including 20mil I rounds.

I don’t see the problem with the 190’s and definitely not the 109’s which already overperform especially where high speed agility is concerned.
The only aircraft that I feel is underperforming is the D-9. I use AEC on Sim mode which granted could be the limiting factor but on the deck the most I can get from it with 30 mins of fuel is 366mph. According to the old datasheet it should be capable of over 380mph.

cuz i hear that there is a gigantic difference between how both of these planes perform in sim and rb
for rb we have the (ill talk about the 109s first and after that over the 190s)
109a b and c (all of them are mostly the same the c just has 2 more guns idk if they are bad or good cuz you mostly fight bad players)
109e1/e3/e4 (all of them are pretty op)
109f1/f2 (both are just downright mean)
109f4 (prob the most balanced 109 in the game together with the g6)
109f4/trop (pointless as it is a worse 109f4 at the same br)
109g2/trop (also just a worse 109f4 but this time its at 4.3)
109g6 (actually pretty nice for its br)
109g14 (a g6 at 5.3 which could also just be 5.7 cuz there are not that much 5.0 and 5.3 props)
109g10 (k4 but bad like rlly the k4 does everything better other than power above like 10km hight (30000 ft if im not wrong))
1090k4 (not bad but gets outperformed by some rlly op planes which are also at its br)

190a1 (actually the only good 190a)
190a4 (190a1 with a few extra guns and at 4.0)
190a5 (all of them)(i think they are just an 190a4)
190d9(it can work but its still not good)
190d12(more heavy 190d9)
190d13(should be pretty okay never played it)
ta152h(gets outperformed by everything it faces in climb and now with nearly every match having fighter airspawns you will start under people like all the time)
ta152c(it could be like 5.3 maybeeeee but not 6.3 (what i want to say with that is its bad))

I believe the source was Erich Hartmann’s autobiography. I recall a passage where he described how the Bf 109G would accelerate noticeably just by slightly lowering the nose. However in War Thunder the Gustav barely accelerates at all when you lower the nose slightly. It simply loses altitude as if small air brakes had been deployed. Meanwhile the Yak-1B and Yak-3 pick up speed quite nicely with the same input. It feels really unnatural.
the yaks are very aerodinamic so thats the reason they do this

I’ve always heard that the Bf-109s, due to their shape, had enormous acceleration in the first moments of the dive, so they had a speed advantage shortly after lowering the nose, and only caught up with the others after maintaining the dive for a while

It’s because there are still people out there grinding with the 190 that nothing gets fixed. Unless we send Gaijin devs data proving that the Fw 190 has gone completely extinct, they probably won’t even bother doing test flights.

The 190 A1 is completely at home, fun to fly and duel in 3.0 BR.
The 190 A-4 / A-5 family, should be spread around 3.3 - 3.7, not the current 4.0 - 4.3 we see today.
The A-8 should be 4.7, airspawn is the only upside of it.
F-8 is ok, it’s a rusher that can annoy people and it does it’s job well.
There’s a report on the cooling issue that pretty much has doomed the Fw190 A line that’s still ignored.
It would be a significant improvement to have this implemented.

The 190 A5’s specifically were also cursed with the newest Fw190 A5/U14 flight model years ago, which made them much worse at turning n pulls less G’s than the A4, A8 and F8.
However that was a completely artificial fm update, so I don’t know how we could request an improvement based on that.
The rest of the A family are really suffering, especially A-8, and even the air spawn is like, you still get outran.
F-8 is great with the 103s, absolute beast in head ons.
