1 br bracket has always been cooked… before it was 12.7, it was 12.3. Before 12.3, it was 12.0, before that, 11.7. It’s just what happens
11.7 Is dominated by the Mirages. Even players with a highly negative K/D manage to get a K//D of 5 or higher in it.
F1C-200s being spammed to grind the OP as hell Rafale isnt that surprising. But given that french aircraft can appear on either team does mitigate that greatly.
If France is on Redfor. What does Bluefor have left?
So I tried to get an answer as to why we havent gotten a new map in 3 years and only got PR deflective answer that didnt actually answer anything. So I guess its back to pray and hope
one map i hope they add to sim is mysterious valley, lots of terrain and places to hide. one map that would be pretty mid is something like falklands, I just hope they stick to adding maps with varied terrain and not just flat.
It would have been really interesting if they had made it full scale (250kmx250km) and made it really Dynamic with lots of naval stuff going on. But in its current state. yeah, would be a terrible ASB map which is a real shame.
This would work quite well for a new ASB map:
aslo thought it would be fun for something like an RAF Valley map
(The amount of matches with france on blue vastly outnumbers the ones with france on red, at least in my experience).
Either way, F5 FCU, A10C, F4E, all the other thai and american F5s Etc
Is Japan and often on Redfor
Same with Thai stuff.
An ultra slow ground attack aircraft.
A 10.7 Phantom with no PD, you can defend against it by just flying in ground clutter.
Half decent, but still much weaker than a Mig-23MLD in all respects.
Its 50/50 in mine. Just pick a lobby with France on your team not against.
The A-10C, Japanese F-5s, F-5s of other nations, premium Harriers.
Japan is usually on redfor.
So that leaves A-10C, Harrier T10 and AV-8B(NA) and maybe some F-5s?
3x subsonic ground attack aircraft and 1x fighter with no IFF and 2x weak rear-aspect IR missiles?
If france and sweden are on a team, then japan will always be on the opposite one, so if japan is often on redfor this means that france is often on bluefor, which almost guarantees the victory to blue.
*one of the most OP 11.7s
Its undertiered at 10.7, and you can defeat a mig23 by flying low as well, you won’t get killed if you multipath or notch it’s missiles
Yea exactly, which can be applied to your initial question; if france is on redfor what does bluefor have?
Well you could just join a lobby where france is on blue and you won’t have to worry about it, matter of fact having france on your side will make you win almost by default (especially these days)
I’m doing the current event tasks with the A-10C. It’s a completely overpowered plane for 11.7. I think the same applies to the Harriers, with their maneuverability and weaponry.
I still find it funny how presenting your tail pipe to a ultra slow subsonic aircraft with IRCCM and not using flares somehow makes it OP.
Didnt realise R-60Ms and R-24Ts could be multipathed.
Right? Exactly. If you dont like fighting Mirage F1Cs, just join the other team. Though personally in 12.0 lobbies I just pick matches where I am against Mirage F1Cs. they are usually AFK base bombing and are just free kills 95% of the time
I Tried the T10 and gave up. You are either trying to gunfight Mig-23MLs or just base bombing in a subsonic. I jsut went back to Tornado Gr4 base bombing in ARB.
Sure, A-10Cs probably are good for the event because of GBU-39 spam against AI targets, but I rarely see them get A2A kills.
Hu?
Just because the A-10C has a lot of Glide bombs, isnt the fault of the A-10C. Its the fault of bad map/gamemode design.
Make some of those AI targets… I dont know, maybe move? and massively nerfed right there.
And the Mig-29 failed to kill an easy target with an R-27ER, then missed a free gun kill and then didnt defend against an IR Missile properly. Is your evidence the A-10C is good in A2A?
Also. Its a mig-29. What next, mvoe the A-10C to 13.3?
CbA to watch past the first 1 minute.
Also not rerailing this thread any further on redfor complaining
Not at all. You won’t be allowed to spam GBU-39s by the opponents, and they’re inaccurate anyway. You can finish the task in a single match just by getting air kills. The combination of maneuverability, smokeless AIM-9Ms, and MAW makes you practically untouchable. The only real threat are experienced enemies who attack you at high speed, but even against them you often manage to fire a Sidewinder in return.
Doesn’t make it any less good.
No, the 27ER got notched, something you apparently deem impossible.
True to an extent
It wasn’t any regular IR missile, and i doubt you would have done any better.
No, 12.0 or even 12.3 is enough.
I mean the fact that it can hold it’s own much better than it should against an aircraft and entire 1.0 BR higher should make you think about it’s damage potential at 11.7 and lower.
How is it redfor complaining when it was you who started the whole: if france is on redfor what does bluefor have?
Almost wemt on a rant about how blue at 11.3 and similar BRs suffers and basically doesn’t have anything conoarable to what red gets at the same BRs
Sounds to me like bluefor complaining instead
Lastly, i have the A10C and used it as well, i’ve fought against it and together with it plenty of times and i experienced it’s destructive potential first hand.
And the only answer I see is a slow subsonic ground attack aircraft.
At 11.3 they really dont. Mig-23MLD could easily be 12.0.
Anyway. Looking forward to nuking the living hell out of Redfor in the Tornado F3 with the new BR rotations.
I’ve found them largely free kills whenever I take out the Mirage F1C-200. With both the 530s and Magic IIs
With how easy it is to fool the Mig-29s/Early Su-27s radar it isn’t hard to fool them without the use of chaff. I’ve had the AI planes in the test drive notch that radar before. After that, theres a 50/50 chance the r-27 will still be able to be guided.
Also the A-10C should be 12.0, it’s so dumb at 11.7.
No clue why the F-4E is 10.7, while the comparable J-8B is 11.7 tho.
I just think its a slippery slope. Ive destroyed (and i mean, completely humiliated) 12.7 and even 13.0 jets in the GR4 loads of times. When ground attackers with decent defensive loadouts that are required for their initial BR, start moving up purely because of that. They tend to start to suffer loads.
I hated the GR7 getting Aim-9M because it was actually good at its original BR and then sucked in the constant uptiers.
I’ve had Mig-29 radars ignore 200 large calibre chaff in a perfect notch before. I consider order of difficulty for defending against ARH/SARH has such:
- MICA EM
- R-27ER
- Everything else
