“Best sarh” are we deadass rn.
That thing has a pulse seekerhead
Dude, it’s the R-27
Yes the Mirage F1 with R-27ER and not the awful joke that is Super 530F
the mirage f1c with r27s, r73s and r77s isn’t in the game yet.
would be a cool British premium or something

The IR missiles are really strong for the BR , but you also only get 2 of them.
The SARH is borderline deadweight, having a pulse seeker head means that a single blob of chaff anywhere near the seeker’s field of view will spoof the missile regardless of any other factors. You also only get two of those as well, alongside a single even more useless one.
The RADAR is good, but that doesn’t matter all that much when your SARH missiles are awful.
“Good flight performance” when it can be beaten by non-hardwing Phantoms in a sustained fight. It’s a decently fast brick, that’s really all it’s got going for it.
I will give you lots of countermeasures. So, good job, you got something right.
I’ll also point out that the MiG-21 Bison is at 12.3, with better IR missiles, far better SARH missiles, a better RADAR and better dogfight performance. And you want the F1 to go even higher than that?
The only planes I know of that can’t outturn a Phantom under fair conditions are the F-111, AV-8, and maybe Su-24.
Still 2 free kills if you’re not the typical prem brained F1C-200 player.
The Matra seems to be immune to every form of counter measure aside from just lead it into the dirt. notch + multipath or notch + chaff is more consistent against a Su-33 of all things, than it is against the Mirage’s science fiction SARH.
Snap I forgot abt that one. MiG-21 Bison should be 13.0 minimum. It’s just straight premium bias along with the mirage.
Lolwat
Is this Super-Duper 530F in the room with us right now? Have you considered just flying straight and using chaff instead of spamming flares?
Hey buddy, Matra 530 isn’t an ARH. It will only guide if you maintain a radar lock. That should help you stop whiffing your missile shots.
It uses a different seeker than other SARH missiles at its BR, which means it can be dodged by using chaff a couple times.
I’ve personally never had issues with it.
Check again. The F-4S (And any other Phantom with slats) can outturn an Mirage F1 at any speed under Mach 1. People really undersell the agility of the slat-winged Phantoms.
Saying that they’re free kills is overstating it. They have the twin problems of an IRCCM system that only works at very close range, and a proxy fuze that only actives a couple seconds after launch. Combined with the lack of thrust vectoring (And the brick-like handling of the F1), you can’t just barrel stuff people like you can in most R73 slingers. You need to pick your targets carefully, and practice some good positioning to capitalize on openings.
This is so completely wrong that I struggle to understand how you could believe this yourself. It’s a pulse seeker, same as on the R3R and AIM-9C. That means any chaff anywhere in it’s seeker head will instantly fool it. That’s just basic game mechanics.
no?? shit radar su27 has 2 less missiles they are fine at 13.0 only if we see a decompresion then it can get up plus su33 has only 48 countemeserus
Lmao if you have a problem defeating the worst SARH in the game the problem isn’t your plane or your tactics it’s the failure between the keyboard and chair
Just one chaff and a slight turn and the missile loses track
- What’s that program? Data from?
- Do you know what the best SARH is on the M2K-SC at 12.3? The event one?
It looks like it’s from statshark, and the best SARH it has is the Super 530 D or F.
Someone mentioned to me awhile back that one of the two don’t ping rwr, and I was trying to figure it out.
Premium SU-30MK2 + SU-30MKK 13.3->13.7 ARB.
Tthere is no place for an airplane with 8 AHR missiles at 13.3
super530f dont give launch warning because its a pulse seekerhead. Though, because its pulse, it gets one chaffed
Data is from Statshark, it’s a great website for getting flight model (even missile) data.
The Mirage 2000 S4 gets Matra Super 530 Ds, which despite having a higher alphabet number than the 530 Fs that the Mirage F1 gets, are a substantial upgrade.
The biggest advantage is the CW seeker over the pulse seeker. While it does give launch warnings on RWRs, unlike the 530F, it’s resistant to chaff. It’s also faster and more agile than said 530F.
You can think of the R530D as a slightly slower AIM-7F, as it’s other attributes are borderline identical.
Joke take. Mirage F1 is extremely mediocre at 12.0 save for the two magic 2s.
HOLY SKILL ISSUE
Yeah… .the MiG21 bison with a MiG21 airframe with no upgrades, with 2 r27Rs (not even ERs) and 2 r73s should be 13.0 along with the MiG-29G (on the weaker side of 13.0 jets) that is a strictly better flight model (as mid as the 29G flight model is) with R27ERs instead of R27Rs and 2 more R73s… right…
They have somewhat recently added some chaff protections to the 530F/Mirage F1 but its rudimentary and not all that effective. It can ignore chaff sometimes but isn’t consistent.
