Air battles RP bias?

It’s not air battles RP boost, it’s lack of spawns RP boost.

Game modes with less spawns get more rewards per action done because there is less to do.

If you want ground battles to have the same exact rewards per action as air battles, you want ground battles to be 1 spawn only identical to World of Tanks.

Just use all your spawns in ground RB and you’ll earn as much as air. Be as skilled in both game modes.

Air rewards are WAY better. Your screenshots already prove it but just take a look at these ones, air and ground stat card for China, notice the difference in total matches played? Lol.

Naval is just ABSURD. You spend so much time and even if you do a lot, rewards manage to be worse than ground. Take a look at a post I made earlier today.

Would be better than it is now nonetheless, either raise it for ground/naval or make it lower for air, otherwise gameplay is just favoring the air players

I disagree with that. Being mediocre in air RB gives me more rewards than matches I get nukes in ground RB.

So my comparisons are indeed aren’t wrong. Who would have known…

Air is single spawn. Whilst ground and naval are multi-vehicle spawn. This greatly limits the amount of potential earnings compared to the other 2. If it was equal, you’d walk away with multiple times more RP in Ground and Naval vs air.

Now to make something clear: I wouldn’t really use the words bias or say they’re against tankers or whatever. I’m pretty sure ground game modes are more popular than air game modes, even by a little. But I’d bet they do this to actually force people to buy premium time or vehicles.

You as well.

Multispawn doesn’t change maths.

Surviving 25 minutes straight in ARB vs GRB without respawns has a MASSIVE different in activity% reward.

Oh they do account for that, specially when you look at the skill bonus. To get 100% it’s 4+ for air and 9+ for ground.

Looking at that report. An air kill in ARB still gives double the score of a ground kill in GRB.

you even get slightly more RP for killing an AI plane than killing a player’s tank apparently…

1 frag gives you more rewards than 11 frags in ground RB? Evidence?

Cause this is mediocre performance in air 12.7: 500% RP multiplier on the jet.

Spoiler

Defeat above, victory below: 4250RP RP 10% booster victory, and 3550 RP loss.

Spoiler

This is a mediocre match in ground arcade at BR 6.7: 360% RP multiplier. 1.39 factor. 2690RP, x1.39 = 3750 normalized RP with the 12.7 multiplier.

Spoiler

Would you look at that, rewards are rather similar despite one being arcade, and all were mediocre matches.

How come a nuke match gets me 10,030 RP while I get that same rewards in an air RB match with 1-2 kills and some ground targets? Actually surviving the whole match, around 10-12 minutes?

Being mediocre in air RB gets you the same, if not better rewards than being 1st place with a nuke in ground RB. To provide another example:

Does it take anything close to the same effort to get through the same rank in ground and air?
Air took 111 matches total and ground took 159 MINIMUM, could actually be more.

Another direct comparison

My personal stats absolutely RUSHING past both tech trees. 75 total for air and 94 MINIMUM for ground.

You have your numbers, I have mine. But taking personal experience into account air is way easier to grind than ground and naval. And I’m not saying they should be the same! They’re just TERRIBLE, naval specially. Ground and air grind are so far apart in terms of total matches required and time invested it’s actually ridiculous.

Service record RP is not your match RP.
It’s physically not comparable.

Also if you find air easier, congrats on your higher skill in air.

Much more important is play time reward.

Because that’s where most of your income comes from.

it ticks down every second.

Why is it especially nasty?

Here’s an experiment for you:

Go to GRB or GSB, earn 300 or 500 or whatever easy to replicate amount of score, then hide somewhere afk until you have been alive for a total of 10 minutes.

Leave vehicle, return to hangar. Check your after battle report.

Now,

Go to GRB or GSB, again earn 300 or 500 score BUT j out 5 minutes in at most (reset and repeat until you can pull it off), respawn and hide doing nothing for another five minutes spent alive.

Check your after battle report.

Finally,

Do the same as before but only earn 150 score in the first 5 minutes and 150 score in the second 5 minutes.

Look at what your rewards say.

Expectation:

“Because respawns”, you should earn the same amount of RP for all three battles.

Reality: Single spawn afking 10 minutes with 300 score earns more than 2 spawns getting 150+150 score over 5+5 minutes

What do you mean not comparable lol. One game mode clearly needs much more battles and time invested than the other. It’s not necessarily about skill. I confess I’m much better in air but the China stat card is from a friend of mine who actually kicks my ahh in BOTH game modes. I consider him to be GOOD at the game and the difference is still very much there.

I will actually go and do that. Just kill some fools with my new KV and hide in bushes, maybe hit someone again if I meet them. I’ll share the results

Result: 1.6K free RP, 1.8K for research of next tank, 700 RP for module research, for doing nothing after getting two kills

Again, what the service record says is not accurate. It does not prove anything in any direction.
Go check my Mirage 3C stats, go check that RP of the entirely spaded aircraft.
Now do the same for the entirely spaded Chinese ISU-122.
In both cases I have NEVER played another match in them after they were spaded, so their service-record RP is exactly stopped the moment both were spaded.

You will quickly find neither align with their spaded RP requirements.
Service record RP is not a usable metric.
