AIM9X block 2,2+ in arb

9x / assram / irst / r74m2 / mica ir.

the aam5 dont have, and i think also python

oh well looks like i was slower

IRIS-T 1000% doesn’t have datalink, it’s confirmed. Asraam doesn’t appear to have datalink.

IRIS-T still soft and balloon-less next to the based beijing balloon blaster

In game all IIRs use the same seeker.

no it doesnt

not in the service version, they are currently developing one with it

maybe? cant find any confirmation

It should? Official rafael brochures have it listed. Idk why it doesnt in game.

Kizvy posted brochure of R-74M2 having it.

It doesn’t have it. Probably people using Spyder brochures to say that Python 5 should have datalink when it could be for Spyder-Derby datalink.

got the brochure from kizvy. cant translate. you can try

Dont confuse CAMM with ASRAAM in this regard.

CAMM does have DL (well, not currently enabled in game) but Blk1 ASRAAM doesnt have DL and Blk6 probably doesnt. Though it doesnt really need it. Lock range is likely very good and between IOG and its speed, its in range to lock on after a few seconds anyway. It wasn’t built for extremely close HOBS like some of the others were anyway. Its more like a short range BVR missile

oh then it might
I dont think 74m does though which is the contemporary of 9x blk 2

Lock range for IIR missiles is probably insane irl, but Gaijin could and probably would artificially nerf it and keep them how they currently are unfortunately.

So it’s just another modification of the R-73 without IIR? That’s exactly why there still won’t be any AIM-9X, MICA, ASRAAM, etc. in this game. So there’s nothing to discuss here.

i might confuse them both, learned new thing, thanks

Perhaps most importantly

don’t spell it like that

Its got dual-band or something, which will probably mean it will be harder to flare than IIR because “reasons”

Other specs im not sure about but this thread is pretty good for quickly comparing

it does, i literly posted the brochure

Even if they hard capped them all at 15-20km. Which would level the playing field, that is still well within the engagement range of the ASRAAM, so no DL would mean very little

that is m2
