AIM9X block 2,2+ in arb

Personally, I guess AIM-9X Block 2 & AIM-9X Block 2+ for 4+ gen, 4++ gen, 5th gen and 5.5 gen fighter aircraft (USA & USA Allies)

Bro I know how to use them I don’t need a tutorial but it’s a fact that the IRCCM is absolutely terrible

It’s IRCCM is on par with other FOV missiles, baseline flare rejection rate is worse though (if it sees a flare it goes for it more often)
Compared to an ET, the ET has a figher FOV but better flare rejection rate.

Exactly… if it sees a flare it goes for it more often

No its different. The stinger should also have a multi-band seeker, but it isn’t modeled in game

someday, but not in the next update

I doubt this due to the 9x being lighter so more agile, forward canards + rear control fins. Which only the r74 and pythons have

Yeha in game the 9x is more maneuverable

AV-8C does not need to be any better

This isn’t an improvement in FoV over what is already implemented post-acquisition, only pre-lock on.

And that makes it better?

Sounds great, less preflare

Considering the AV-8C is limited to rear aspect missiles, and lacks a radar. for it to do anything it’s already had to put in work to remain in the rear hemisphere and get it’s nose on the impact of said change would be marginal.

All the change would do is almost double the size of the area searched (2.5 degree to 4.8 degree half angle cone).

And besides there is separate reports that would give it access to an extra pair of sidewinders, that it should have.

It won’t improve the flare resistance, so it’s going to erroneously track flares from further away, and for longer since the field of regard is larger.

There’s also a considerable size difference here when it comes to both engine and control surfaces

so like how many G,s is the 9X block 2,2 smh?

That is classified info, but public sources state 50 to 60g (most of the time 50g)

mm okay cus thats what R-73 is supposed to be
