Im not against yu vehicles. But i think, if they would get their own tech tree a huge amount of vehicles needed to flesh out the tree would be the exact or near same as we already have. Engine/FCS upgrades don’t count.
Your points simply contradict one another and I’m making that known.
Tell me why on green earth engine or FCS upgrades don’t count?
580hp vs 840hp is an almost 50% increase in engine output!
According to your logic the M26 and M46 are near identical by virtue of “engine upgrades not counting”.
You force criteria into your own narrative rather than looking at the realistic picture. The way you present your arguments are unfair and disingenuous.
For the love of god, please stop adding more countries with copy paste stuff and/or “bit of everything” lineups. There is already a HUGE problem with br compression and balancing and yr literaly like “BUT I WANT MUH YUGO TONK” … Please stop…
Thats just your opinion, doesn’t mean they do though.
Because it’s still the same tank, ok it moves faster, doesn’t change it’s gameplay that massive as you think it will.
You are comparing vehicles from the same tech tree. And even those don’t really play differently.
In this case it’s about not adding mear copy paste vehicles from mayor nations to other trees and call them different because of a different engine.
So again, Sherman M4A1 and Firefly are the same tank according to your logic?
How about Centurion 1 and Olifant Mk.1B?
Hell, let’s take it even further! T-34 (1941) and T-34-100 are the same too then!
This is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever read.
M46’s mobility upgrade DOES matter, as well does the new shell options.
M26 has to be played very passively whereas the M46 can be played much, much more aggressively. M46 also has to play less carefully due to it’s HEATFS reliably being able to pen all tanks it faces frontally. M26 does not have this advantage.
Looking at your stats confirms your lack of insight: only 2 games of M46 as opposed to your 31 games of M26.
This argument of yours best shows how you aren’t to be trusted with statements regarding how differently vehicles can play from one-another.
Again: balancing and vehicle additions are handled by different people.
Addition of Yugoslav vehicles would not alter any balancing nor would balancing alter any future additions.
Your metaphor does not work.
“Copy paste this, copy paste that!!!” people really don’t know that there won’t be a lot of original stuff left, do they? Upgrades, especially big ones is sometimes the best they will get.
Then lets add that unique stuff as a sub tree to another nation which can use it.
I don’t want to say Isreal as there is literally no connection to yugoslavia, but since when did that stop gajin and they could use it.
Yes, and that’s been a thing for some time already. Only a matter of time until yugo vehicles get added, considering there are some yugo stuff in files, even the flag itself.
What the hell is wrong with these people who enter a thread, DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING about the topic, and DO NOT READ any of the conversations - yet somehow feel entitled to give their uneducated take?
And to you again: reputation doesn’t and shouldn’t matter.
Should we trash the Swedish and Italian trees for not having many “legendary” vehicles?
Alright then, if pedantry is your jig.
M47 (105/55) = identical to M47 to you?
SIDAM-25 is identical to any other M113 to you?
ZTZ-96 is identical to any other T-54 variant?
M4A4 SA-50, Sherman Firefly and M-51 are all identical to M4A1 to you?
How about half the Swedish tree being based off of foreign vehicles? According to your logic it doesn’t matter…
I could go on, but the point is clear.
All the more reason not to trust you with your assessments of the BR range.
Once again, Gaijin has to sometimes “ration” unique vehicles, also yugo tech tree has good amount of unique stuff. Without “copy pasted vehicles”, even when theyre in reality upgraded, are still good additions. Because those “unique” vehicles can run out pretty quickly.
