I dont care about the number, i am more intrested in You’re motive to argue about a game mode you dont normaly participate in, so do one! You are a nice troll. 1303 in ARB Fact!
Nope, that number is made up. Nothing about that is a fact. And being captured on an enemy airfield is realistic. It is as simple as that.
So stop trolling and accept that not everyone shares your opinion.
Now i see what has gone wrong here, Plane landing and capturing the forward AF is an idea change due to af campers. My idea is kind of separate issue that i have mentioned before in other topics and mentioned it here kind of like a off topic discussion. But you came in waving the realistic flag lol. My OP was just a simple question and has evolved into this.
How can i be a troll in my topic about a game mode i play and you dont, 1303 in ARB fact, you are the issue here as you cant help yourself
So, this is a stupid argument first off. But it does point out that you can’t count on the mouseovers on the in-game service record for long-time players.
According to the service record, @PointyPuffin has 29,730 respawns in RB.
@Wishie7119 added up the respawns on the mouseover, found only 1303 in Air RB lifetime and drew conclusions on that (which were rather insulting and childish, but that’s beside the point I’m making).
If you add up all the mouseovers, for Puffin that only comes to 22,225. As he says, over 7,500 respawns are missing from those service-record mouseovers. This is common for older player in-game service records because game systems have changed so much. Every time they change again (like with double kills for finishing things off in air this month) these numbers get a little less reliable. For a newer player like me or Wishie, my respawn numbers just on the in-game service record will still manage to add up. Doesn’t work for the old-timers like Puffin.
So has Puffin played 1300 Air RB games or 8800? Cause I think we can all agree if it was 8800 then saying they weren’t an Air RB player would be just sad and Wishie would owe him a complete abject apology and could probably afford to stop posting for a while. Well, here’s my (completely unasked for) third-party arbitration of the claim. Using the web service record (link), we see that Puffin has destroyed 2,812 air vehicles with ground vehicles in RB, lifetime. We also know from his service record, he has at least 4,952 air kills in ground RB total (see mouseover on his ground RB stats). So that leaves a minimum of 2,140 air vehicles killed with air vehicles in ground RB.
Cross-tab that with the total number of all RB kills with air vehicles on the web player record (7,026) and noting he doesn’t play a lot of naval, that means Puffin could have killed as many as 5,000 other planes in Air RB matches, lifetime. I’d say 5,000 kills is enough to be allowed to have an opinion on Air RB, personally.
This is confirmed elsewhere in the web player record (see link above), which shows 1.5 months total play time in ground vehicles in RB and 1.4 months in air vehicles in RB, nearly the same. So it’s safe to conclude here that Puffin is telling the truth, and that most if not all of those games now missing from his in-game service record were Air RB matches from earlier in his play career that are missing now from that in-game record.
Bottom line is for next time, you always need to cross-tab this stuff with the web-based service record to check your work when you’re trying to lazily stat-shame and gatekeep someone out of a conversation, especially if that player has been around a while.
1303 ARB since records began, which is a long time ago and he him self has stated he grind in ARB along time ago which means he has turned into a GRB player, and i will not be owing anyone an apology for standing my ground.
Do one
You do you, but that lack of class would just show us all what a small, petty troll you’re being.
Reposting your original attempt at gate-keeping someone who has managed to kill more planes with planes (6,000+) in War Thunder Air RB in 1.5 months of flight time than you have (checks your service record… under 5,000 for you after two months), just for the record:
Since he’s actually killed more people in less time than you have in Air RB, maybe it’s HIS mode and you should stick to what YOU know. Whatever THAT is.
“Turned into a GRB player:” good lord, take the L, dude.
The argument had come to an end, but you just decided to stick your neck in, write an essay and pick a side. I suggest you wind you’re neck in and do one? You dont even know what the argument is about
I just took the time and went through my service record. I counted the RB battles of aircraft, which I only used in ARB. And those alone come to 3.623.
These 3.623 ARB matches do not even include matches in aircraft, which I also used in GRB or NRB.
In real life you’d be surprised at the amount of man hours it takes per flight hour. If the air field is abandoned who put fuel in the jet? Who repaired the jet? The auxiliary fields are simply without AA support. Furthermore the ability to capture the auxiliary airfield is a dumb idea. Overall you should not be able to capture the enemies airfield by simply landing at it, even if it’s just the auxiliary.
This is not real life, there is not much in this game that is realistic. It is not a dumb idea but a fun 1
The name of the game mode is air realistic battles. Just an FYI. And it very much is a dumb idea.
Thank you for you’re opinion
You’re very welcome. Let us know if you come up with any more dumb ideas so we can ridicule them too.
So you want to wolf pack me? Showing your true colours
Don’t you have enough fights going on in this thread already simply because you can’t take criticism on the poorly thought out idea of yours?
The fact you want to ridicule me, shows you’re intent and you’re true colours
Yep my true color is I have a strong distaste for stupid ideas and people. So you caught me red handed.
What’s the conclusion? What happened after you were captured? Were you refueled and rearmed and sent to fight your former brethren?
There is 2 topics in this discussion which 1 are you referring to?
The one about being captured on the runway.
