That is due to the stronger grind requirements for tanks ;)
And realistically speaking, completely unmanned airfields have no use at all except for emergency landings.
The only realistic explanation for an aircraft to land, rearm and repair in the game is that the pilot gets out and jumps into another plane that is ready for him.
In Air RB a while back there used to be a map (maybe more than 1, but I can think of only one right now – some variation of Hurtgen which had 4 non-respawning bases in a kind of cross and two airfields top and bottom of the sides of the map) which didn’t have AA at the Airfields. If you landed at the enemy AF you’d get the “going to get captured” message as well. So it’s been around for a bit. Just unusual as most maps have AA at airfields, or it’s unusual to get to enemy forward AF to land.
Edit: might have been the Air Battle France map… one of them anyway.

You dont even know what realistic is so stop using that word. You have played 14332 tanks, 1303 ARB, a bit more than just grinding tanks because of grind requirements. I think you are just being negative for the sake of it. And i think the only reason you play ARB is to grind planes for GRB. I suggest you stick to what you know mind your own game

According to your numbers I have played 15.635 RB matches and that is without counting naval.
According to the stats page provided by Gaijin, I have played 14488 matches of RB, including Naval.
How can your number including only 2/3 of the RB modes already be larger than the official number for all modes combined?

I can spawn 10 tanks in a single Ground match. So 10000 tank spawns might equal 1000 tank matches.
And since we are speaking about playing a mode and not about spawning individual vehicles, this is the only number that matters and now provide proof for your claims!
