Please ignore the troll.
Go look it up, pen values and all show they’ll likely be more effective against all the light vehicles there.
As for that vote? “Literally” means someone actually did something, I didn’t. Never voted in that poll. So stop lying.
Ok, so it didn’t happened then.
Back up your claim or stop lying
Burden of proof is on your side.
Sure thing, still waiting for you to proof that I LITERALLY voted in that APHE thread, and voted against it. Or for any of your other wild claims and insults to various people in this thread.
Just post those
where
Its not that hard, and you will back up your claims
Show me where I LITERALLY voted in that thread, and against it.
So you were just lying about yak9k on era 8 out of spite, got it. Thanks for confirmation.
I guess given you are lying and making stuff up throughout this entire thread, with your main goal being disruptive and getting it closed, you just presume so is everyone else. So, where exactly is the proof that I “literally voted in that poll and against it”? Got none? Just made up stuff?
No, the Horten was a tank shredding UFO for months, at least. They only changed the dispersion, then years later they changed the belts to be less effective.
Nope, Horten received FM and Gun accuracy nerfs in the same week after his introduction.
At the end of the day, the biggest issue with the so-called NS-45 APHE is that it’s entirely fictional. Here are the main problems:
1. Unrealistic fuze design
The fuze length is just 1mm, which is absolutely ridiculous. A fuze this short essentially means the shell detonates on impact, rather than after penetration. In reality, no APHE round would be designed like this.
For comparison, the 50mm APHE used by the Me 262 A-1/U4 will usually over-penetrate light armor targets without detonating, which is what a realistic APHE shell perform.
2. Mismatch between label and actual explosive type
Even though the in-game stat card labels it as APHE, the game files show that it’s actually treated as a HE shell. This means:
With the same amount of explosive filler, the NS-45’s “APHE” produces 7x more fragmentation damage than a regular APHE.
For example, the Me 262 A-1/U4’s 50mm APHE has a similar filler amount, yet it can barely one-shot medium tanks, while the NS-45 can easily one-shot heavy tanks like the American T34. That’s clearly the result of blatant stat inflation.
3. High accuracy + overpowered explosive damage
On top of the insane explosive performance, the NS-45 is extremely accurate. With this combo, the Yak-9K can reliably destroy all SPAA vehicles, which is something that regular APHE or APCR rounds can’t even come close to. This isn’t just strong — it’s flat-out overpowered.
According to russian fanboys is just a skill issue…
Wow, it’s almost like a hyper agile Soviet UFO with a laser accurate Russian bias bomb launcher in its nose is an entirely separate issue from a large sluggish ground attack plane which trades all A2A capability for A2G capability.
Man, CAS haters are all the same.
SPAA is worthless against well-played CAS.
Is this actually true? Can you provide evidence?
That Tiger had the same fate as my Panther A did.
Ah ahahahahah. Average Russian mains not wanting nerfs. Like man how? Unless someone like me who actually mains SPAA they ain’t gonna shoot nothing down? (I use the twin 40mm Bofors on the M1919A1 and got 3 Russian planes down, one being a yaK-9K). ANd one or two good SPAA ain’t gonna kill 5 YaKs in the sky. Plus, they APHE SOMEHOW oneshots open-topped SPAAs too. At 3KM range.
Pretty sure Leo 1 is in 8.0
Jagd27, ask Hudler to show us WHAT NON-RUSSIAN broken planes there are. Answer: NONE
Yes, i know. That is true.
It’s just what cas abusers say if anybody on this forum says something about cas.
I feel sorry for you. Best wishes.
BR 8.0 is still a long way from tier 8.
There are plenty. Depending on what BRs are we talking about.
To claim things like F6F, F4U or AD4 aren’t busted is insanity
