I’ll just write this down just for you.
For a loooong time on this forum, me and others who advocate for tank only gamemode argue with cas abusers. People for TO posts a lot of arguments, while cas abusers do not have anything to say, and their strongest argument is “just spawn spaa” or “just spawn a plane bro”.
So, going here, seeing people complaining about plane, i simply post “just spawn spaa” comment. Do you get the irony here now?
The fuse sensitivity is ridiculous indeed. Bottom fused shells need serious decceleration for it work. No way 1mm of srmor decceerates this shell in a significsnt fashion. And yeah, the explosive power of this shell…
Tried 50mm recently in Poomer.
Shot a guy in the turret. 1 out of 3 crew ded, gun breech yellow. He shoots me I die. Basically 50mm does not kill things in 1-shot unless very lucky and it doesn’t even kill everyone in the turret o if shot from the side.
Meanwhile Yak-9k casually 1-shot my crew in a goddamn Churchill MK VII 10s after I spawned and no, ammo did not explode. If shot in the turret - sometimes hull crew survives. Sometimes.

Funnily enough, the Yak9k can one shot most SPAA. So unless it flies in a straight line at them it’ll likely destroy the SPAA. At best it’ll be a trade.
@Hudler “People have brought it even higher, to the 8~ range.” means BR8. Not tier 8. The ~ stands for ± some points.

So if you know what the M1919A1 is, it’s a M24 hull open-top with two 40mm Bofors. No way APHE oneshots that, right? I mean, there simply is no way APHE has that much explosives? Wrong. There was 5 Russkie planes in the sky, with around 3 being Yak-9Ks. I spawned SPAA and knocked out an La-5 and a YaK-3 that critically killed 90% of my crew. Then A YaK-9K head-on me, I killed him and got killed by hime one-tap. And No-way some German/US/every non-Russian nation player mains SPAA, 'cause only Russkie SPAAs have HE rounds for their 14.5mm. That’s a joke too, considering how a 14.5mm roof mount from a ISU one-tapped my Vought.
Yes, I know the difference between B.R. and Rank. Thank you tho. It’s that he just said ~8 which doesn’t, tell if it is BR or Rank. I assumed 8.0 'cause who the hell brings a 4.0 plane in a 12.0 match? Of course there are exceptions like me bringing my 6.0 German lineup to 11.0 and still get assists.

Just had a nice match, did 3 kills with T-34-85 to later spawn Yak-9K to gather enough SP for nuke. I have died in Yak-9K only because after spawning a nuke, the AI system crashed it into the ground. When I was flying nuke plane, I have noticed that enemy have spawned one too, so I engaged in a fight with it. Later I have dropped a nuke and ended the game.
