You are playing a video game.

And for selling it, you are trying to get a financial benefit from the play, it is akin to work in that regard.

So having people require an input of hours to be able to get a financial boon, be it ingame currency or not which they can use in replacement of real money means comparing to IRL money is fair.

Ingame 40-45 hours with the aim of selling it, which is the main objective of getting the upgrade, no other reason to do so, is £500-1000 in real terms income of work hours lol. Its OTT. There needs to be some kind of limiter balance on that.

It isnt about getting it to keep, its about objectively getting it to SELL it.

In fact, Chinese do not have much free time during the Spring Festival, you must understand that for Chinese, most of the time is busy socializing. I try to explain in a way that you can understand, that the Spring Festival is like Christmas for Chinese, but it lasts at least 7 or 15 days, and in fact, some more traditional families have already started to prepare before that. So, do you play games on Christmas Day? Apparently not, otherwise it would be pitiful. Of course, neither will we, as Chinese.

Here’s my math: I get up at 08h00. I have 1 hour for breakfast with my partner, then we both need to work. I work from home (so yes I can cheat and cheese in a few games here and there during work hours, but let’s assume I don’t) until 12h00. Then 1 hour for lunch with my partner, and back to work at 13h00 - I finish work (nominally) at 18h00. Then there’s 2 hours for cooking and eating dinner with my partner. Usually after that, there’s things to do, like watch some series (because my partner feels it’s a little bit anti-social if I sit here playing vidya games and not spending time with her), shower, maybe some random conversation will break out, and so on. My partner goes to bed at 22h00 - at which point I could play vidya games except by then I’m already tired, so at most I’ll cheese in an hour or so of gameplay.

0500 - wake up
0530 - shower / clothing, hygiene shit
0600 - prepped for work, grabbing anything else i’d need for the day, small snack
0700 - At work! Woo!
0930-1000 - another snack, just a little break otherwise
1300-1400 - Lunch time! I can usually get a few matches in here, if not goofing off irl
1630-1700 - This one’s mainly just games.
1900 - work over, time for home!
1900-1930 - dinner, socialize, blah blah blah. If it was a shitty day, sometimes a second shower.
1930-2300/2400 - play some games

This is the heaviest day I can possibly have, too.

45,000 for one stage in the new event?!

45,000 score for each stage in the new call of the dragon event is ludicrous. Players for as long as i can remember have been asking for a reduced grind for all events but gaijin have done the complete opposite increasing the grind by 5,000 score every 2 days. Gaijin has clearly not listened to the community feedback and obviously just sees the new event calendar as a way to make more money by using FOMO as a tool to force people to buy through events or use the market.
