WTH with the 45000 score?

Sadly you are too much of a dunce to have a reasonable discussion with literally everything you said it’s false. Literally everything and if I showed you a screenshot of 750k Russians on WoT you would still argue about it.

I pity your need to troll for the sake of attention. Good luck with that.

How it it “greed level high”? It raises the amount of XP needed to sell the vehicle by almost double what it was before. The entire point of this is to have less people selling the vehicle.

This is less aggressive than the last 2-3 years of grind events. You no longer need 120k XP every 2 days for every vehicle, and you now have the ability to get all 3 event vehicles.
Hell, this even releases the dead time in between events, spanning nearly 2 months.

Then again, don’t play video games. If you’re pissy that you aren’t getting your money’s worth for a limited time bundle of pixels on a shitty computing software, then don’t do it.
Nobody is forcing you to like a progression based game.

strawman of strawmans, this argument is so damn old its unreal, its been used for decades and is as moot now as it was the first day.

People give their opinions because they want to enjoy and love the game they enjoy and love, they give it to the devs in hopes they will keep making a game they can enjoy and love. “dont play the game then” means leaving the game you enjoy and love, which neither side actually wants and if the devs do, they are nuts lol.

At that point, wtf is the point of asking for player feedback? Gaijin asks for feedback, so we give them it, telling those that do this to “stfu and go away” is just silly. Again, they are asking for £500-1000 worth of investment time to get a coupon to sell… the cost to benefit ratio is off the charts and needs to be massively curbed.

How is it a strawman? You’re complaining about the time needed to obtain the vehicle, and you’re equating it to real-world earnings and minimum wages.

So again, why are you playing a game if you expect a similar outcome to manual labor?

The entire point of the event is to give players something to put time into, earn something, and by the time it’s over there’s something new to play for.
If you don’t want to use that time towards in-game rewards, then why complain?

“Giving your opinion” is not equating a more lenient progression model to real-world minimum wage.

Again, do not equate in-game time to real-world currency.

You are playing a video game.

If you feel the time put into a game is not worth playing, the way to fix this is not by comparing it to what a company / business would give for that same time.
It’s by comparing it to another feasible model of progression.

This is already a large improvement to prior events. It no longer locks multiple vehicles behind arbitrary rulesets that you have to complete in a limited time, and you no longer have to complete 3 sets of these arbitrary actions in said time.

It’s now the same amount of time with 1/3 the workload, more availability to every vehicle of the event, and if you’d like to grind the vehicle for nothing but monetary gain, you have to do a lot more work.

My guess is he’s the broke teenager that relies on busy people to buy his coupons as he can’t afford anything else. Lol.

No actual player of any game ever would oppose making a grind easier, ever. Dude is clearly a Gaijin puppet

Emphasis added by me. As someone with a social life, I do see issues with that. And your math is off, sleeping for 6 hours? 12 hours working? And you have energy left over after that? Puh-leeze.

Here’s my math: I get up at 08h00. I have 1 hour for breakfast with my partner, then we both need to work. I work from home (so yes I can cheat and cheese in a few games here and there during work hours, but let’s assume I don’t) until 12h00. Then 1 hour for lunch with my partner, and back to work at 13h00 - I finish work (nominally) at 18h00. Then there’s 2 hours for cooking and eating dinner with my partner. Usually after that, there’s things to do, like watch some series (because my partner feels it’s a little bit anti-social if I sit here playing vidya games and not spending time with her), shower, maybe some random conversation will break out, and so on. My partner goes to bed at 22h00 - at which point I could play vidya games except by then I’m already tired, so at most I’ll cheese in an hour or so of gameplay.

So I have a max of 2 hours to play. If I’m feeling it. And happy fun sexy time doesn’t suddenly happen around bedtime. And assuming we didn’t have friends over for dinner. Also assuming I’m not working (because I’m on call). And assuming I’m not playing other games I might like to play.

Yeah that argument doesn’t hold up very well - it only holds up well if it was the only way to obtain the vehicle. But it isn’t. You can buy it on the marketplace after. You can buy stages.

So it’s not about merit - it’s about are you willing to spend money on the snail today. You want it for free? Then you will have to work for it - otherwise, cough up them GE/GJN.

Yeah you have to play 4 hours of battles every day if you want the tradable coupon.
You can think it’s too much or not, I personally support this cause it removes the ability to purchase the coupon.

As for 45000, it’s actually closer to 34000 after the multiplier if you’re playing rank 5 vehicles, more for rank 4, less for rank 7.

And ~34000 points if you get 1200 a match for 8 minutes per match is 9000 per hour, and you’d have the 34000 necessary score in around 3 hours 47 minutes playing rank 5.

I think it’s okay to make the sale on the marketplace correspondingly difficult.
However, I find it questionable to tie the general acquisition of the vehicle to such high conditions.
Because that’s exactly what divides the community. A few will always painfully remind a large proportion that they will have no chance of achieving these things.
Gaijin should also make its financial cut. However, I also find this questionable due to cheap tricks with “special offers” and an extreme shortage of supply and a significant increase in demand.
They are currently trying out how far they can go. But they don’t seem to realise that many players have already “quit” internally.
And that doesn’t mean that these players not only don’t take part in the event but also run the risk of withdrawing from the game completely. Do we want that?
The high number of players may be a good thing. Has the quality of battles improved? I don’t think so… does the upcoming grind help players get better?
It affects all of us whether we like it or not. And in the end the decision is not “do I take part in the event, yes or no” but rather “do I continue playing WT, yes or no”

I don’t buy your logic. I would oppose to make the grind of exotic vehicles easier, because I like to keep them exotic. As I have pointed out several times, it is impossible that we all have that rare vehicle. Because if we all have it, it isn’t rare.

And I would rather play a game that resembles history than have hordes of captured Tigers battle hords of captured Shermans. I don’t want exotic to be the new mainstay. So I am fine with it being rare, even if that means that I don’t have it.

Otherwise, you might as well place it in the free tree.

I’d say this decision will come eventually, events or not.

I think many want things so bad and Gaijin knows this and plays with it. It creates a toxic environment between those who don’t feel compelled to do this grind and those who feel compelled but actually have a choice.
It’s the same with the CAS topic. As a player you always have a choice… even if you don’t like the answer.

You’re self-rationalized being denied and taken advantaged of as a good thing.
Your Stockholm Syndrome is showing…

The game is already ahistorical AF. Everyone having equal access to the content isn’t going to change that.

I am not grinding it…
I am not buying it…
And I try not to insult others here but use reasoning. Why don’t you try too?

I don’t know where you get that it has x10 more players than wot. I have played both since the beginning and Wot had many more simultaneous, not long ago WT did not exceed 50k. I left Wot years ago I don’t know how many it will have now but I doubt 10 times less.

This event is an infamous farm. Whichever way you look at it, it’s for lifeless tryhards. I’m talking about being able to sell it, keeping it is an annoying but achievable effort.

To do it quickly already forces me to play certain tier and tanks.

Luckily it is not mandatory to do so.

If you have a magical apple tree that creates an infinite amount of apples, why would you make them exclusive and not available to 99% of the population

Its not an insult. Its an observation.

So I can call someone stupid and say it is an observation?

I didn’t call you stupid.

And for selling it, you are trying to get a financial benefit from the play, it is akin to work in that regard.

So having people require an input of hours to be able to get a financial boon, be it ingame currency or not which they can use in replacement of real money means comparing to IRL money is fair.

Ingame 40-45 hours with the aim of selling it, which is the main objective of getting the upgrade, no other reason to do so, is £500-1000 in real terms income of work hours lol. Its OTT. There needs to be some kind of limiter balance on that.

It isnt about getting it to keep, its about objectively getting it to SELL it.
