Why US stuck in 1995?

think you missed this

You claimed that the F-15, M1A2 SEPV2 and AH-64D all used wepaon from this Centuary. Not a single one of them does

In fact, all 3 use weapon systems from the early 1990s if not earlier. The only weapon system you mentioned is the AGR-20 which is newer. Though comparing AGR-20 with KH-38s for example, is a stupid comparison as they have a fraction of the range and firepower.

Considering most nations top tier AGM is actually the AGM-65 that entered service in the 70s (and upgraded in the 80s) and yet the Soviets have an AGM from 2012 kinda shows what OP is complaining about and the fact that NATO cannot get its weapon system from 2012 or newer because the soviets would be totally outclassed. Like imagine Brimstone 2 with its 60km range, Full FnF abilitiy including mmV seeker and the ability for most aircraft to carry at least 12, if not 18.

I do not understand you. where do I claim that these things use weapon from this century in this quote? I simply state the year they entered service. of course, F15C MSIP II is a special case, it went into service much earlier, but the HMD upgrade it received happened in 2008, which is why I spoke of it. Also, AH64D uses weaponry from this century, it uses AGR-20s. hope this helps

SU-27SM is from 2003
Mig-29SMT is from 2015 (could be wrong)
Su-25SM3 is 2018
2S38 is from 2025
T-90M is from 2017
T-80BVM is from 2020
Panstir S1 is from 2012

I hope this helps

Eh… considering how much Gaijin has nerfed that by removing things like its planned armour, spall liners etc etc. Its not really worthy of inclusion. It might be very new, but is so nerfed compared to everything else. Though it doesnt even get the only shell its actually ever fired the DM63.

Though I think OP is more talking about AGM-65 (1970/80s) vs KH-38 (2012)

I don’t see the point. attempt at mockery perhaps, but no actual value to the discussion

Simple. Soviets need more modern kit on average to compete with NATO nations.

The fact you need an AGM from the 2010s to compete with an AGM from the 1970s says it all and the fact that the western countries are always denied a better AGM because they would be “Too OP” despite how blatantly OP the KH-38 is.

Heck Apaches are all still stuck with 8km range, laser guided hellfires that barely work half the time and are missing a load of features like usable IOG or LOAL despite more modern Hellfires existing that provide FnF capabilies. But nope, soviets must have a better heli AGM in the form of the Vikhrs which is still over-performing compared to IRL.

never stated otherwise, who are you trying to prove this to?

All I did was prove OP wrong and here you are coping

current SMT is from 2006, and original SMT is from 1998 or around that year (saying SMT is from 2006 is like saying F-15C is from 2007 because it has HMD). It’s definitely not from 2015 thought

Must have been misremembering an aircraft then

Oh, the article i read must have been old. Either way it’s a brand new tank

is F4F-KWS-LV from the 60s then or are we being special and counting the modification year 1991 for this one?

There is the AGM-65E2/L. That was made in 2010. Although it is currently modeled as an AGM-65E so i guess that pushes it back to pre 1995.

talking about ammunition, some nato tanks do not get their anti-ERA ammunition (example:- DM73 on leopard 2a7v)

JHMCS is from 2006… not 1995.
