I don’t think anyone has an opinion of it because there are basically no good games in the new brackets. Sim is practically a ghost town in the new bracket from what I have seen.
I definitely haven’t seen any of the people that were clamouring for the new bracket playing game. There has been a distinct lack of Tornado F.3 Late even though it now has the ideal bracket that someone was asking for.
Yeah blue side is super inconsistent currently for that bracket even though they still have good planes (f16as and the 15). Everyone just leaves, for example I was left in a 1v5 when I’m playing blue or I’m in like a 6 v 0 when I’m on red. Either way not fun

And I was in the Mig29smt, which has a radar gimbal limit of almost 90° which makes me able to launch them and then go into the notch while still guiding the missile

It Is not all that impressive because much better stuff than It exist at the same BR.
Its main drawback Is probably the spo15 rwr which doesn’t tell you what Is shooting at you.
Su33 fixes this, but unfortunately it’s Flight model Is utter garbage, and It only gets 48 countermeausers.
In my opinion, the new bracket rotations have been a good and long awaited addition, but they still don’t solve numerous balance issues.
The 12.3 bracket in particular Is extremely problematic as not only Red side doesn’t get a single dedicated fighter at this BR but It is also forced to fight planes such as the F18A, MiG21 bison and F14A.
The only viable option thats Red side has Is the JH7A, a chinese 12.3 strike aircraft, which should actually be 12.0 at the highest.
Red side at 12.7 Is still extremely weak, as it’s main dedicated fighter, the MiG29, Is always sliding between being the epitome of mediocrecy or straight up dogshit.
The yak 141 Is one of the only viable options as It Is actually better than the mig, but for some reason it’s much less played, resulting in an insufficient amount of players that could actually make a difference.
The rotations also still don’t solve the issues of the many severely undertiered planes (F2 adtw, J7E, A10C, Kfir C10 etc)
Or even uptiered ones, such as the aferomentioned JH7A.
j11a and su30mk2 being same br as fox 1 only flankers is ridiculous, they really need to move down to 13.0

The last BR changes turned the J11A from an irrelevant dogshit plane at 13.7 to the new obliterator of 13.3.
Now there Is no reason for the J11/Su27S to be still at 13.3

All of the Nato countries have a f18, f16 and harrier ii so it all evens out. It’s kind of dumb that the game moved up the semi active f16s. I miss them. Now china doesn’t have a 13.0.
This is my point of frustration. Two years ago redside only had the f4 ice and mig 29 at 13.0. They had to fight all of Nato without Irccm and the trash spo15. No body wanted to play on redside because it was stacked against them. I couldn’t find lobbies as an American main from 12.3 - 13.0. I wanted the su27, j11 to be brought down to add more competition. It would have also made the redside unique and different from Nato countrie. Instead the game balances blue side by adding lend lease blue side planes.
Now the excuse to not bring down the su27 is “it will over complicate things.” It seems that the game made a mistake by adding f18 and f16 to almost every country.
Before people complain about the r27er, just know that I will send a proof of concept video of me evading it at 15 - 10 miles.
