13.3 is mostly “red” BR. I think it would be too naive to expect a significant number of “blue” planes when 13.3 is at the top. This means that the battles will be empty and with an advantage for the “red” team.
Lowering the BR of two planes is definitely better.

Depends on how its set up. Given that 13.0s can just about cope against 13.3s but 13.3s dont stand a chance against 14.0s. I would propose this set up
You either end up with 2x 13.0 brackets or 2x 13.3 brackets. I think the 2x 13.3s brackets would be better

My brother in christ, how is the mig 29G better than kfir C10, you say notch, I see a guy high up. I get close, fire my er and start cranking. He fires back, I think I have an easy kill cause er is faster than other fox1s, he notches my missle, I die. What could have I done? You cant even get close to kfir c10 cause it has aesa radar and good rwr, he sees me coming, he just turbs around and leave at mach 2. The c10 is the most broken shit I have ever seen. Even better than rafale at it’s br. Tthe harrier can defeat the mig 23mld in df. Vtol is really good if mastered. Look at yak 141 enjoyers.
Bruh, r-drater>amraam. Amraam is the worst fox 3 in the game except derby. No fuckig pull. Have you ever played tss. The brawler meta is m2000f5 and sa grippen. Against players with 2+ braincells the darter is better than amraam.
R-Darter and Derby are almost identical in the files. The only difference is that R-Darter has 2kg more initial mass and a worse booster (which will make it worse, it has lower dV and higher mass so it will accelerate slower and not reach the same top speed before the sustainer activates).
AIM-120 is another topic entirely.
Derby has/had some tracking issues wich I havent noticed with darter. Ask tss players like polish fulcrum, willy walrus, migan fox 3 etc. And they will tell you the darter is better than aim 120. It pulls much better.
The Flankers would be OP at 13.0, and would be better than nearly everything else that isn’t undertiered.
Despite not having ARH missiles, they are still better than a ton of 13.0s like the Harriers, Viggen DI, or Mig-29G (this one’s especially telling because the Su-27 is better in every single possible way).
In wich aspect would it be op? Fm maybe, missles maybe but first you have to lock them to fire er wich is ducking hard
what about ET, or the R-73+HMD dogfight combo
Preflare against r73 and et is good so I think it wpuld be balanced. It has shit avionics but the missles make up for it. F16, f18 gets avionics but missles are worse
It gets an IRST, which can be useful since it doesn’t ping any RWR or alert the enemy of its use in any way. The Su-27 is the only plane that can use its short and long range missiles without any RWR pings
A combo of:
Decent endurance, especially when compared to the Mig-29G.
4 of the best dogfight missiles in the whole game.
2 R-27ETs which are very powerful in sim.
4 more R-27ERs which have the best kinematics out of any missile in the game.
A decent RWR if you’re in the Su-33.
A useable radar (it isn’t good, but it’s not unusable).
And a decent flight model now that it’s been buffed.
It’s just too powerful for 13.0, and we need a 13.3 bracket.
Irst is useless for spotting targets. It can be useful after you spotted tge target already with radar and than switch to irst.
