Every missile has its purpose. IR missiles excel in short range combat and players should be forced to recognize this.
They do. IR did used to be stronger until they buffed flares. I feel like flares are a little bit too strong rn
This depends on the missile. Removing the marker would be a stronger buff than adjusting flare resistance.

Removing the marker would make for more dynamic engagements due to the lethality incurred when furballing. I would rather see planes hunt in packs and try to cover eachother rather than everyone spinning in a giant ball.
That is more of a community issue tbh. Even with such a change, they will do the same thing. One way to encourage packs style gameplay would be to have a decent reward to staying with your squad mate.
I would love it if i could prevent my team from doing some of the stupid things they do.
No. There are ways to make your missile hit 100%, but there are no ways to make you dodge missile 100%. So no. It does not go both ways.

This entire thread is someone coping about their missiles not hitting, because they are new to jets and don’t know how the gameplay works. @Vamilad owns three planes with missiles, has no experience in top tier and is trying to tell experienced top tier players how the game should be played.

Air RB EC was so “fun” that its population was less than every other game mode.
After all, I’m one of the people who played the mode.

most players & content creators already dislike top tier because of the number of missiles flying around and the limited amount of CMs. Top tier gameplay is imbalanced, and not fun.

it would make no sense to remove the marker for Air to Air missles, if you wish it gone play sim, realistic is for those who want a semi-realistic game mode where you dont need to micro manage everything, Most people who play this game play for fun, not for simulation.
I want the gameplay to be more engaging.
Not being able to see the missile marker doesn’t introduce more mechanics for players to deal with it removes hand holding against missiles and forces players to recognize the threat of enemy positioning.
You use all these terms, but all I feel this is about is someone seen you fired your missile and avoided it, and you see this as the only way to counter it.
