Why is the Stormer HVM so bad?

Would make for an excellent 11.7 spaa for us brits. 250mm of pen is more than enough to get away with deleting light tanks from the map, but we can already do that reasonably well anyway so i really dont see the problem.

I wouldn’t even put it that high. It could comfortably be 10.3 with the current Stormer tbh, the range isn’t that great ~6km, so comfortably puts it under the range of most AA at that BR bracket

I’ve been living a lie. I’m terribly sorry for the misnomer 😂😭

Not entirely true

LOSBR/SALH sellectable
As for terminal seekers, i have not found anything about their implementation, only thing i found was a nose camera for man in the loop.

as far as im aware, its only LOSBR in service. All the other guidance modes are private ventures by thales and not been adopted.
You can tell the SALH and LOSBR apart by the nose cones, LOSBR has a more pointy nose cone, SALH has a clear blunt tip. As far as I can tell Thales likes to use the SALH version at expos so that might be where the confusion comes from, the original specification LMM was fulfilling, anti-light boats (eg fast attack boats and skiffs etc), for the Wildcat helicopters, required not using SALH due to target emissivity concerns.
heres some abit terrible quality photos to hopefully demonstrate the difference in the nose cone better than I can word.

I know that, but clear tip version was everywhere, and brochure says brochure, so SALH it is.
And, i guess. Shameless plug time

The SAL seeker (as far as I can remember) is more of a thing for Free Fall LMM, which is basically LMM with the motors removed, I think it was marketed by Textron in the US as the Fury?

Sus. Also don’t spread your name on the internet. If it even is you.

My guy you can’t link to a file path on your own computer to the Internet like that haha.

While yes, SALH is a main thing for FFLMM, LMM was also advertised with SALH seeker

And it is in the brochure.
Version withou it is just the cheapest, so it is the most optimal to be used during dispays, trials etc.

Does this source has any value? I dunno.

It is

Not really. Some of the things it says are a bit dubious and the Devs don’t accept it.

Yea, i see

Do we have any information on the thrust of the motor and such, as could we not work out the speed via that? Would be a rough estimate but would allow for us to work out the rough speed to compare it to what we have in game.

what we have in game is the bare minimum per manufacturer, that is

been told that before, gaijin taking the bare minimum values for us while giving the Russian 45mm an aphe round with 2 secondary sources, one of which calls it an amour piercing tracer round, of which tracer would have teken up most of the explosive mass anyway…

Any news on whether they’ll overhaul this thing yet? Nothing makes me want to uninstall the game more than when I whip out the Stormer. Nothing. Nothing.

Cool, they kinda fixed the phasing bug… Fix the vehicle too. Fix the inaccuracies. Especially now that we’ve got the Stormer AD, buffing the Stormer to its real-world capabilities and raising its BR couldn’t be so hurtful.

Why is the Starstreak a tail-chase in-game, and why does the ADAD not have automatic tracking in-game. Why is it the Stormer so broken in every conceivable aspect.

Phasing problem is improved but not fixed.when the ping is 150+ or plane is mach1+ the problem is still there.
