Why is the Eurofighter so nerfed?

inb4 stona locks the 70th thread calling out devs for not fixing the eurofighter

???

No?

Well, they managed to report it’s turn performance at 50% was too low by using footage of a Rafale at low fuel. Suffice to say, that has now been reported and hopefully theyll loose a chunk of turn performance

I remember when people were trying to get the Flankers fixed using videos in their bug reports and those just got flat out denied.

French Bias frfr.

Sams with IRIS-T SLM, also Assumptions could not be used, well somehow for the Rafale assumptions + 3rd party sources were allowed…

and it annoys me how many 100% primary sources, have been denied over the years. Not just on the Typhoon, but other places too.

ok this is getting annoying now, they did another fucking fix to the rafale AND NOTHING TO THE EUROFIGHTER AGAIN, CAN A DAMN GAMEMASTER OR STONA GAVE US AN EXPLAINATION?

Uhhh you do know the change to the Rafale was a nerf, right? I mean if you would rather it didn’t get nerfed sure sure, but uh, yeah.

(Some of the information used for one of its old buffs was inaccurate, so this is undoing that and adjusting it to be more accurate.)

NGL though I don’t get why people are so upset at the rafale being better then the EF2K in game, its also quite a bit better irl outside of the newest blocks.

I mean tbf he did only say “Fix” and not buff, so.-

It’s funny. They’ll campaign to see the Rafale turned into a Phantom in french paint and then if you show them IRL trial data from the competition between the three eurocanards (swiss) where the Rafale was chosen as the best fit for the swiss requirements, they’ll jump down your throat for believing propaganda and dassault corruption (yet to see evidence of that).

405 again come on

(Edit: m to n)

Hey do not talk about Swiss Trial lmao, someone gets banned for using that as reference.

It’s radar might be as well as it’s EW suit.
That Eurofighter is caught lacking in flight performance however, not only low and slow either is a bit odd to say the least.
The disparity in max G loads comes to mind as well.

I do not know exactly when IRIS-T as well as ASRAAM and MICA IR entered frontline service but Eurofighter is disadvantaged in thet category as well. Not to say that those missiles ought to be added immediately but it is another point where Eurofighter is struggling.

ASRAAM was 1998 on the Tornado Gr4 (at least I think it was the first to carry them operationally)

IRIS-T I beleive was 2003 with the Typhoon I think

I dont know about all EFT nations. But Im fairly certain that Britain, Italy and Germany used their respective Gen 5 IR on the EFT from the moment they entered service and only really used Aim-9 on the airframes for testing on the early DAs in the early 1990s

But yes, I do agree. the lack of HOBS is a major bottleneck for the EFT at the moment

we’re more upset to the lack of fixes to the EF rather than buffs, the jet remains as unusable at BVR thanks to the radar being bugged by not tracking well and even ghosting on TWS.

remember this is the TRANCHE 2 and not the first variant
