yeah i know, if there was more concrete info on the % i wouldnt bother guessing but im just going off there being a good amount of afterburner usage then a landing with a small margin since its a display and the runway is right there
Okay but on the other hand there might be fuel reserve in case the planed does a go around, needs to divert to another airfield…
As the AB consumes about 3x as much fuel I believe, if ze consider a utilisation of AB for 50% of the show, from the moment the video was used to the bingo alert, about 3 minutes of fuel could be used in that time span (1mn 30s with 45s at AB), which is 10%. You then are assuming Bingo alert at 20%, which is 7 minutes of fuel Mil power, which doesn’t represent anything useful as a reference
7 minutes of mil power fuel would be enough of a margin to pull up and turn back around to attempt a second landing no? i dont think the pilot would be doing much afterburner on bingo fuel, at least relative to the rest of the show. that being said 10 minutes does seem too low, 12 minutes (34%) at 6:53 has better margins imo.
it is really odd how the radar is so bad things like the fox hunter is some how more reliable
Even after the foxhunter nerf?
not sure last time i played the tornado F3 it could actually track and lock planes lol
meanwhile my last eft match it failed to even pick up a plane at an altitude of 2km and less then 6km away
Good point…
you can see the pilot adjusting the pingo fuel warning in the video at 9:06 from 800kg to 550kg
this debate is now over i would say
means the bingo fuel warning most likely appeared at 800kg fuel remaining and not 2300kg
@DirectSupport and i know for a fact that you knew about this
Thats a really excellent spot. Yes i believe you are right.
except that nowhere does it actually says kilograms. For example on the Rafale M video the fuel weight is explicitly stated - outside of the Bingo window - but with the kg keyword
edit : error 405 is sooo annoying
even if it was liters it wouldnt make that much of a difference or do you want to tell me that they are using gallons or pounds?
and why wouldnt they use kg in the Rafale C when they are clearly doing it in the Rafale M
If it was liters, itd actually be even worse for the Rafale. Most common jet fuel used by NATO combat jets is JP-8, with a density of 0.775-0.840 Kg/L.
If the bingo fuel setting was liters instead of kilograms, the fuel weight would be 620-640kg for 800L, which means the bug report would be overestimating even more.
It would mean the Bingo Fuel warning that came up a minute after the analyzed portion of the footage was set at roughly 13.6% internal fuel, while the current in-game model is based on the assumption of it carrying 50% internal fuel.
which would mean the Rafale is overperforming even more
just a reminder that gaijin refuses to fix the eurofighter because the bug report team is very stern on the “fake manufacturer propaganda” unless we make a huge uproar about that then keep waiting for nothing
I’ve heard enough, another 50 buffs to the Rafale.
40 historical accurate missing features on the eurofighter
gaijin: that’s bad…anyways keep giving the rafale ahistorical buffs
How many of them are ahistorical?
supercruising
It… It can super cruise up to like mach 1.3 though
yeah and eurofighter also could do that but the bug report team is stern on “manufacturer propaganda” soo we can also say that its dassault propaganda to sell more rafales
