Plenty of tanks that don’t have them, yet you ignore that.
Yet again, plenty of tanks that don’t have that, yet you ignore it again, not to mention the ATGM vehicles that plague the BR bracket.
It’s really not, and the more I’ve played vehicles that force you to not have your barrel in the enemies viewport I’ve realized there are MORE, WAY MORE sniping and defensive positions in 90% of all maps, even many urban ones than people give credit for. Maybe don’t push the enemies so quick you don’t have a chance to snipe if that’s what your vehicles objective is.
It also doesn’t. If you need a stab when sniping, you’re putting yourself in a situation where you will be shot at, which is when you shouldn’t’ be peeking in the first place.
Objectively false. Shermans are good because of their stab, and it’s why they are great in CQC.
Because it’s also a top 3 6.7 tank, facing stuff that is very rarely stabilized. It’s also a much more stable platform than the AMX-30s.
All of these things are a bunch of little things that add up to hopefully create a big thing. A stabilizer just is, a big thing.
The AMX-30s suffer from not being able to react quickly to threats when every other tank at the BR can react quickly to you. It’s made worse by them being frontally deletable by any autocannon so the rampant amount of spaa abusers/light tanks running around at this BR insta-delete you on sight with a stabilizer to boot usually
Is currently still sitting higher at 9.0 while having more than arguably worse issues.
A fixed gun is just a start, you think that armor is bad? APDS auto cannons make this thing shudder, but it also has a chance to stop lol-pens because of the fence and ribbing. It has no thermals either. ATGM jammers, don’t exist on it, so have fun ducking helicopter or maverick slingers.
Some similarities you can say, is their full gearboxes. Good mobility. Poor reaction time. The sights are pretty far long shots, sure, the STRV gets better optics from a traditional point of view, but the BRENUS gets thermals. Their big trade off is actual spot-ability vs survivability. The BRENUS is larger, but can respond to threats quicker, and minimally tank a shot to retaliate and possibly dispatch, the STRV in turn cannot if its tracks or engines get shot out.
They each have downfalls to each other, but the BRENUS will have better firepower and survivability in 90% of combat engagements. To be more clear, this is coming from the POV of solo fighting while on the move. The STRV is by far a better defensive tank, especially considering its unconventional layout and quick reload. The BRENUS is a dark hole compared to the STRV, which is like a smooth brain, all shots just slide right off.
They each have their respective roles, but purely looking at statistics, not the layout of the vehicle itself, the BRENUS is going to win in a fight if it has any team support, even when the STRV plays home field advantage.
Okay sorry for trying to make reasonable comparison. Do you want me to purely look face value to simplify it for you to understand without comparing like-abilitied vehicle?
Considering you responded in 1 minute, I assume you didn’t even care to read, no?
I have almost exclusively been playing midtier France for like a year now and I can say I have been having fun. Still hate that they ruined the 6.7 lineup.
I mean 8.0 luckily exists so worst case you just change up 8.0 but yeah I get that. Sucks having to change lineups. At least the entire 6.7 went up together.
