Why is T72AV Turms-t 10.0

Just acknowledge it’s bad, the T-72AV (Turms-T) is bad, not because is bad as it’s but because it’s a Premium and there are people that still buy it, it’s sad to see people paying a Premium vehicle so bad that with the same amount converted in Golden Eagles you can get a better vehicle in the same battle rating.

If it was a tech tree vehicle I wouldn’t mind but as a Premium it doesn’t work anymore, a future compensation for whoever bought the T-72AV (Turms-T) would be very welcome and eventually removing it from sale or moving it as a tech tree vehicle which could serve as great improvement for USSR’s T-72B which lacks proper sight for its battle rating.

CV90 105 TML was removed for similar reason, it was so bad that it was removed and if I’m not wrong the players that bought that was compensated, then it was replaced by the CV90 105 XC-8, I’m not considering the accuracy issues with the vehicle.

Uhhh, no. The CV90105 TML was exceptional ingame.

But it didn’t have a stabiliser in real life. So rather than removing the stabiliser ingame and making a lot of the buyers angry, they instead upgraded it to the XC-8 version.

Previously with the Italian M60 premium, they removed a stabiliser it shouldn’t have had, and the playerbase threw a fit. Guess they didn’t want a repeat of that.

really now? IIRC the CV90 105TML wasnt removed becasue poor capability, it was removed as being grossly historically inaccurate.

Yes, yes. I’m sorry maybe I got confused and replied with wrong information.

All good

Anyway theres no reason why should TURMS be removed as premium. Its fine where it is.

Id ho as far as to say that the TURMS and 80UB are perfect match for premium lineup, one trading hull armor for thermals, but both being good against their counterparts as long as they are played to their strengths.

It is a tank geared for sniping, but with 5 degrees of gun depression and 4km reverse. The sprut at 10.0 does its job better just due to the fact it can reverse and that will keep you alive a lot better than turret armor will in these situations. Not to mention having a much better penning round.

I dont know how it was when first added, but powercreep at this point makes its armor very mid, and no matter how good your armor is you are getting 1 tapped from a lfp/ring/driver port shot, or taken out of action via breach or barrel, maybe losing crew too.

No armor best armor isnt a meme when you dont have the gun depression to only present turret face when peeking in 90% of spots that HATO 9 degrees depression can, and you spend 3x longer reversing back into cover.

If it had the resverse speed and depression of a leopard it could well be 11.0 or .3 even.

9.7.

Imagine RISE (P) or A1A1 trying to fight this thing.

Was no different to the 9.0’s fighting the Leo 2A4’s and M1’s

I cant even remember what tanks were 9.0 back then beside 1A5, but RISE (P) especially had little to no chance against TURMS, vehicle stats wise.

Turms is fine its armour can save you. Reverse speed means you cannot or should not over extend
And Mango gets the job done.

Why people coming back to this thread to reply to OP. The thread is nearly 2 years old

Old or not the thread topic can still be discussed.

Nah you are definitely overrating these tanks, they are fine but not so good they need uptiers

That is an INSANE revision of what actually happened lmao. It was just found to be fake after the fact… the tank itself was always considered fine, if not overpowered.
