And that brings us full circle to the bug reports, and the claims of everything being the game and the servers and all that nonsense.
You don’t want it fixed because you want a bad guy, otherwise it needs to be fixed to your standard, which is often incorrect and wrong.
BUT I DIGRESS… The overall problem here is that the comment was wrong, and should’ve been more attuned, and it shouldn’t be so hard to raise an issue with any of the bugs, but because you are dealing with volunteers, and people who are dealing with more spam than you could imagine, you get what you get.
I know Knight from my days as a Game Master. He’s a good guy and has been helping players with their problems for MANY years. He has helped me a few times, even after I got promoted to player again ☻
I don’t think his reply was meant that the game frowns upon players stacking boosters, if they really did, then they would keep us from doing it, much like how you cannot “stack” discounts. With those, you just have to use the biggest one available at the time of purchase. Not unreasonable and just how it is.
But with boosters, stacking them is very “inefficient” as the percentage does degrade the more you stack, so I can see where some would suggest this is not the best way to make use of your boosters.
I have stacked a great many boosters over the years, but it is always just to use them before they expire. Otherwise, I use them in “tandem”, say a 30% RP booster coupled with a 30% SL booster . . . same amount of games, so . . start & end at the same time . . . “efficient”. But that’s just me.
If you do the math, stacking so many 20% boosters that they drop down to 2%, that’s -18% times how ever many games and so on . . . that can add up pretty quick to a big loss, but . . . still better than letting them expire, so . . . do what ya gotta do.
Again, Knight is a good guy and it seems like this has been blown way out of proportion. We should prolly put up the pitchforks & tiki torches and find something more worthwhile to be upset about . .

And when he said you should not stack boosters he actually meant that you could?
And when he said it was against the spirit of the game he actually meant it wasn’t?
Well, Aussies talk funny(being from Texas, definitely funny . . .lol) and yeah, I cannot count how many times the things I have posted here in the Forum or in the game’s chat have been misconstrued or taken as something aggressive, out of anger or some other way twisted far from what I had intended . . way of the world and a “text chat” problem. But you have to take those things with a grain of salt.
Always best not to take or make things “personal” and that goes extra for the internet I think
I am not speaking for someone else, just being pragmatic and showing there is more than one way to look at things . . . all things. You can read into it whatever you like(as you obviously have and are intent to do) and go with that. I don’t really see it as a point of contention, tho others here clearly do.
Stack your boosters, don’t stack your boosters. We have the ability to do so, and that is up to each individual player. We all play the game differently and that should be respected by everyone.
And in the end, what difference does it really make what was said? It doesn’t change anything, so why even worry about it? Why must the world be remade to suit you? . . . If history has shown us anything, that has never worked in the past . . for anyone.

I find a lot of people on the forums here have been desperately trying to make things personal so much so that new comers come in thinking that that’s how you treat people on the regular.
I spent a month being attacked by a random kid who actually had no interaction with me at all, on the back of some of the regulars berating me about commenting everywhere and being negative, for merely holding an opposing opinion.
Because maybe I expect a level of professionalism from a company that is making millions of dollars but refuses to invest in employees and when I want to make a bug report in the future I don’t want to wait 2 months for a reply, and only to get some snarky response from an employee who feels the need to make a moral judgements on how I am playing the game and make up nonsense… rather than providing bug support, only for a PR person to come in and pretend it never happened.

Would like to see confirmation that the disconnect is due to the boosters or if it really is “frowned upon” whatever that means and the outcome.

To be honest, reddit is probably worse than the forums.
As for the bug report etc, i dont even bother because i always get met with some generic, blunt response whenever i hear back from Gaijin etc.
Funny to see people get so worked up though.
Oh hell yea, but reddits been leaking towards this forum a LOT since the migration to this tripe we now have, and the invisibilty of the moderators and non-guidance lets it head that way.
As much as i hate being silenced or having my post removed or my thread or people tagging my posts, i reckon the mods here do a fairly decent job in keeping order. can get a bit crazy sometimes and i know first hand and they are needed.

I personally don’t… The actions aren’t regular, they’re often absent, there is no actual guidance and there’s literally no reining in of those who are merely abusing and attacking people on the regular until there’s enough reports about someone getting tired of it all and being upset enough to just snap and throw down a tirade on them which then gets deleted anyway.
There’s many players in this forum who are ONLY wanting to hear what they want to hear, and if you actually oppose or even slightly mention that it’s part of the game they get all upset to the point where they consider you thier arch nemesis rather than someone who merely has a differing opinion.
So then they start making assumptions, make insinuations, and label you names because they NEED you to be the villain because they actually have nothing more to actually rebut anything with.
And this leads to the reddit post… When there’s that many in there pitchforking and being all riled up, they’re going to do something stupid, and that’s the problem with much of this community.
Lots of unreasonably tilted players, thinking, and more assuming that thier issue is with the game/team/‘’‘netcode’‘’/‘bugs’ because it can’t possibly be thier insufficient skill, lackluster PC, choice of internet connection, or bad luck, it always has to be the game working against them.
