Sure, but it’s understandable why they dont wanna hear that, especially when it’s put across in a condescending manner.
I reckon its probably best to say your business then bug out before it escalates after a few responses, harder said than done and I should take my own advice.
Once they bite, whether justified or not, they aren’t going backwards and dont get hung up getting the last word as hard as it is. :P
Making out it’s about the last word belittles actual discussion… No-one here wants discusion.
Same with that reddit thread, there’ll be no quelling it and everyone will be gunning fo Knight to be dismissed, threatening review bombs and spamming crap to get thier way…

People will make reasons if they don’t have reasons… They’ll also ignore reason, and be ignorant to the advice of others because it doesn’t fit.
See me saying to spawn SPAA everywhere, or to tell people to check thier wifi, or consider that the issue isn’t the game, and that they need to check things.

They don’t need to make them if they’re given, as they are in this case.
One person has an issue, and there’s many in that thread that will be genuinely unaffected and yet thier issue will now fit because Knight even commented on it.
That’s the real issue with these sorts of situations.

The situation is an issue in itself, and based on the responses from people not an isolated incident, it just means people have not complained in all those previous scenarios and now they all share their frustrations.
As I said, some of those will be different situations, and them making the issue ‘related’ doesn’t make it actually related.
As I said about the fact of asking anyone about whteher they are on wifi or whether they’ve done anything to fix it along the normal ‘procedure’ of checking anything, the common response is ‘I’ve tried everything’ rather than actually listing what they’ve tried.
Makes it real hard to actually make a suggestion, and that’s the way many of them like it because it HAS to be the game as CoD isn’t playing up.
The issue is related when it comes from poor management of the game and poor treatment of the community.
