Why is Ozelot at 9.7

Not really, no.

grafik
would change this shit a bit. gepard should be at the other gepard, and I would change the place for the ozelot and the flarakpz1 even with the br. and since it is topic I would also move the type93 up to 9.7. if you dont change the ozelot br I wouldnt change the 93 br since a radar which doesnt alarm the rwr is kinda op against cas players.

If you struggle to not die as a CAS main, then it simply skill issue. Nothing more, nothing less.

I would exclude spawn protection since this can be broken

“I went through your comments but honestly the whole higher or lower BR argument doesn’t matter to me the way some of you frame it what actually matters is how much pressure you can put on CAS and the truth is the lower your SPAA sits the more hell you can give them air support is the easiest job on the field but stopping it takes advance to do that such as missiles so if you ask me lower BR SPAA is always the smarter play because it forces CAS to actually think instead of farming the match” that’s my opinion

They are, they really are.

Some of us actually play Warthunder for its combined arms aspects, and this requires planes being actually playable.

Planes are barely contested in ground RB. They are annoying and if nobody plays SPAA or CAP, they can kill their targets with almost complete impunity. It takes you more to kill them than it takes them to kill you.
CAS mains like yourself had it too easy for too long.

Pangolin would remove SPAA entirely if he could. And the other guy wanting higher BR for STINGERS is complaining about spawn protection because it keeps him from spawn camping as easily in a plane.

His entire view is “if spaa can engage my cas before i can bomb, it is op”

But that fits into the US main view so im not surprised.

False. If you’re struggling to use SPAA then that’s a skill issue.

What the enemy spaa sees as i fire my 20km range missile from outside of his 5-6km range.

CAS is easier to use than SPAA. You also have to actually spawn in SPAA and wait till some dunce on a plane is close enough to fire at him and somehow do it fast enough so he doesnt bomb your teammates.
The rewards for killing planes are also miniscule compared to killing ground targets.
You wanting SPAA to be nerfed shows how little skill you have as a CAS main. The very definition of “skill issue”.

Nope. Playing CAS requires paying attention to the battle.

A typical excuse for a CAS main to justify being bad at the game.

not all spaa’s are made equal. the chinese pgz09 at 8.3 for example uses AHEAD rounds. and with drones now giving the same score as shooting down actual jets, this thing has been acing its function. it shoots down heli’s and drones with expert precision.

at the same time, the british stormer hvm is standing at 10.3, while it literally cant hit anything closer than 1.5kmh. the missile simply flies too fast, and wont be adjusted for anything close by. at the same time, its useless at longer ranges, even with direct aiming. the missiles arnt proximity. they have a very real chance of simply flying past the target. why is it at 10.3 despite its entire existance being more useless than a zsu-23-4? i killed more light trucks with this than airplanes. the 30mm explosive penetration sports some weird results.

Surely if CAS was so easy as you say, you’d have atleast reasonably average or ok~ stats in your CAS planes XD.

Played a few games in LAV-AD and with 13 kills to 1 death, I can VERY confidently say that stingers aren’t bad, yall are.

What do you consider to be average?

More like 10. Still good though. Recon drones dont count.

I would lean more towards not counting helis since they have to choose to fly closer than they have to for you to lock.

On a side note, i dont know what that “finishing off” section is.

ppl keep saying helis are hard to lock, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I think Finishing off just means how they died. From the looks of it,

“- (full reward)” means they died instantly

“Own target (the rest of the reward)” means I severe’d them, then they died without a teammate finishing them off.

They are if they are not rocket rushing. As long as they stay further than 2.5km away, stinger cant lock. With atgms being at least 3.5km range, they can stay far enough away.

I havent checked out the detailed reports in a while so there is a lot of it i havent seen.

I would still like to know what you consider an average k/d for cas. I suppose it could depend on the br range.
