Why is the Ozelot at 9.7 even tho Type 93, an objectively better vehicle, is at 9.3?

Type 93 SAM started off at 9.7 Br, but was dropped to 9.3 due to how bad it was. It was buggy, missiles didn’t work, couldn’t hit a heli for years etc…and devs refused to fix it for 4 years. Since then it was fixed and still remains at 9.3 with a horrible reputation regardless if its better or not vs the Ozelot who didn’t really see much problems and was more successful down jets over the years.

the stock missiles the Type 93 gets are the same as the top upgrade FIM-92s on the Ozelot
have you tried locking onto a plane without scoping in on it
also, Ozelot’s scope is 4x-12x while Type 93’s scope is 6x-12x

Stat cards are different, unless they are literally the same in game. I’d use FlareFlo’s missile comparison but it doesn’t have the FIM-92K or Type 91.
Ozelot gives you a direction to look. Are you telling me playing with no mini map would not be a handicap?
Frankly they are both crap though.
there’s also 1 big advantage on type 93 and it is optical lock, instead IR lock. And that is reason why it should be moved to 9.7 or remove optical lock from it.
Yes, ozelot has IR search radar, but it also doesnt identify friend or foe and having multiple recon drones up from own team makes it a mess.
Ozelot is better.
The stinger has better pull while the IRST search/Track allows you to find and target jets without them knowing.
The two things the Type 93 has over the ozlelot is speed and Optical targeting on the missile. The optical targeting only helps for engaging helis that are flying above the horizon.

Real question is why the Lvrbv 701 is at 9.7, only thing its kinda good for is killing helis
The Lvrbv 701 is also at 9.7 and much worse.

As someone already mentioned here, the Ozelot IRST doesnt have IFF, and while the fact it shows the direction of where an aircraft might be (not going so specify enemy aircraft cuz it detects everything thats in the air as enemy), the automatic lock almost never works so you end up having to search for the enemy aircraft manually anyway.
