Cool solution would be (I did a post but moderators never accepted it… wonder why lol)
To make the gamers more active in the objective is to get double the xp for kill if you get a guy defending a cap point (if the point is already taken)
Same for the guy on the cap point if he gets a kill standing on a capped zone and the other player is either in the cap or not will get the double xp for kill
this would make the game more objective focused instead of sniping
if you wan’t to snipe you get normal xp just like now but if you play what the games wants you to play it will grant you a bonus xp for your hard work.
This would make the ground RB a little bit easier to xp without radical game changing mechanics and would actualy make the 1 dl maybe less common because of that
Well RP wise - generally air battles are easiest, then ground and then naval. But I wouldn’t equate that to being the ‘hardest’, as I find ground battles more enjoyable, less taxing, and I’m willing to play them without even thinking about the grind. It’s simply not a grind if you’re having fun and ground does that better than any other mode in this game. Obviously, that’s just my opinion, but I think deep down most will admit that it’s true.
But cqc is not on all maps you get it right? people playing light mobile tanks get the penalty playing long range maps so it is kinda balanced out…
While more armored tanks with bigger guns get more kills on sniping maps and can actually cap the obj with the bonus
Oh the timing is hilarious, I quite literally took screenshots of above average games just to have records of rewards…
Almost equally good games, extremely similar RP rewards. More SL rewards for ground.
Honestly, if we had more in the way of flexibility where our RP goes, I am not sure I would be bothered much by the disparity, even though yes base earnings in tanks are quite a bit less (and navy less still).
Why am I not able to choose with a slider how to apply all the RP I earn, and instead see half of my RP earned be wasted on modifications RP for a vehicle I have either fully spaded long ago or bought as a premium that is already spaded by default?
Why am I not able to turn off vehicle research and double modifications research, or vice-versa? Why am I not able to donate unused modifications RP to an unspaded vehicle of the same general type (like tank for tank, plane for plane, etc) to another vehicle in my lineup?
Flexibility matters way more to me than raw numbers.
You’re forgetting to mention the part where there’s 1 less frag in the ground RB match which causes the air match to have slight advantage, as well as T-80UK having a lower RP multiplier than the rest, and BVM having a lower RP multiplier than T-90M and Gripen.
And despite the lower multiplier, and despite the 1 less frag needed for a proper 1:1 comparison.
It gets close.
Yeah, and I only have 11 ground frags in a ground match.
Neither are my best matches, but they’re more equal than otherwise.
Both are good matches regardless as well.
Do less? 4 frags in air is not doing less than 11 frags in a game mode where everyone respawns.
12 frags in ground is about equal to 4 frags in air because of the respawn mechanic.
War Thunder doesn’t have a World of Tanks game mode for ground, but if it did, the rewards wouldn’t be buffed in the matter you think they would.
