Yeah, I agree across the board.
Centurion with 32Pdr…
I need that…
NOW!!!
:)
IMHO nope. There’s no need for another (and fake-ish) BP. And I say this as someone, who’s played about 2k battles with BP and it’s actually my most played vehicle…
Personally, I’d prefer something new, different, original…
And, ofc, M22 + M24. It’s a crime that Brits’s still don’t have them in their TT…
Wdym, brits with Bostvark are the closest when it comes to experiencing a middle eastern Toyota Hilux.
Inshallah we will bring down jets with that thing.
that thing shreds planes but good luck using it with its horrible firing angles
Mainly cause there’s not really many options, except the Cent Mk II which should never have been a BP
“Nearly every other tech tree”
France only has an M26 at 6.7
Sweden has one LT and one TD
Israel has one TD
China has one heavy and one light
Italy has 2 lights and a medium
Japan has 2 TDs and 3 mediums
So literally the only trees that have a heavy and medium at 6.7 in TT are US and USSR.
Also hilariously enough the british centurion mk 10 is outpreformed by both the swedish and israeli equivalent.
Germany has 6.7 medium?
May or may not have forgotten the M41 isn’t actually a medium tank. Oops.
Why are people talking about adding shermans or Pershings to brittain…
As if they don’t have enough of their own vehicles, there are even perfect examples in this thread.
Stop with this pointless copypaste, it’s not necessary
I am against copy paste, but I must recognize that for example the British used in large quantities both the Sherman III (M4A2 with initial hull) and the Sherman V (M4A4), so even if it is a copy paste it would make a lot of sense to add them. I would only ask gaijin on the subject of copy paste, that they at least do not copy the exact 3D model, that they look at real photos and put tarps, backpacks, bags, fuel cans etc in the same way as in the real photos, so that it would be something different at least.
It wouldn’t really. Just because a country used a vehicle, doesn’t mean it should have it in the tree.
Import vehicles should only ever appear when there are gaps in trees. UK doesn’t have such gaps, so it doesn’t need those shermans.
I understand what you’re saying, but I think there are certain vehicles that, by history, should be in those tech trees, what could be done is to add them in a pack together with another native model, in order to be able to use the native one and avoid copy-pasting, and so that it doesn’t slow you down when moving to another Br. For example, in the same way that the Cromwell I and V are together, you could put the Sherman II, III and V together, so that just by unlocking the II you can move on to the next vehicle.
What I find absurd is what they did with the M44, which was to add it to several tech trees at once, allowing for the inclusion of several native vehicles in its place, such as the late model Brummbar or the Hummel in Germany, the Abbot in Britain, and so on.
I think they wanted to give everyone access to the mechanic, without having to “burn” all the cool and famous vehicles at once. Now Wespe can come - let’s say hypothetically - next year and it doesn’t matter if the Sexton is not in the same update and comes eight months after the Wespe, because competitively speaking everyone now has one or more HE slingers already.
Is it really copy-paste if the US never used the M4A4? Sherman V was pretty exclusive for the Allies, largely the British.
I think the devs have done that copy-paste simply because they are not going to add anything similar, neither Wespe, nor Hummel nor Brummbar. All with the same tank (which yes, they historically had) and fewer problems making other 3D models.
In fact, the British used almost exclusively the M4A2 (early hull) and the M4A4, while the Soviets did the same with the M4A2 (late hull) and the M4A2 76W. Only in the Pacific were the M4A2s used by the Americans.
Nahh. If a vehicle exists, it’s guaranteed that at some point it will come to the game. The fact that they come slowly over many years is just the standard for drip feed content industry. They don’t call it drip feed for nothing.
Answer: They don’t
you got a loisence for a 6.7 medium/heavy?
