why would they do that when they rely on people spending money to be addicted to the game? (to be fair wargaming does the same, but the price isn’t nearly as bad and you still have access to said free rp to use as well, you just spend to convert rp earned on any/all fully researched ships/premiums)

Before we continue, we should check if we can agree on this? The drift of many suggestions is ultimately to reduce the grind and/or speed up progression. It is irrelevant which mechanisms are touched, the desired changes will increase grind speed.
Free use of CRP sounds a bit like it for most ideas.
If we would allow names changes for high cRP amounts, it would not speed up progression. It would be a way of saying: “You have played for a long time, you take the game more seriously now and have left puberty. And you no longer want to be named LongShlong42362. You can change you name now for free once”.

Not necessarily. It could be grind faster cheaper because the price of it right now is outrageous.
Or, we could grind faster but for SL. We could convert CRP with SL and those who wish to have more just buy more SL.

But they could do some dicount on the eagles to CRP price, so it would be faster for cheaper.

Any increase in progression, which would cost less would give you some “progression for free”, compared to the status quo. If it were not so, people would hardly suggest it here.

I have around 35 million and would like to at least see the conversion factor go up 200-400% if we get ONLY CONVERTABLE RP for a lot of the achievements let us use it. 100-200 RP per GE would be fair if they won’t make it free.

Then people would use it, and they dont want anyone except whales rushing new stuff to do. As currently 400k RP gets converted for 8888,8 GE. For which you need to buy 10k GE,so its roughly equivalent of one premium pack at rank V,which is 60€.

Guys you already get 20% free rp. Making it purchasable with SL will only lead to an increase in repairs and purchases or decrease in income because SL is another way they make money, if your bypassing the gold for rp they will just make sl worth more by decreasing how much you get.
There is no correlation there unless Gaijin artificially decides to make it so. There is no finite supply of SL, RP, or anything else in the game. Its all make-believe monopoly money and digital tanks. It exist merely as a means of progression control by Gaijin, not a medium of exchange. But such shenaigans will be pretty apparent to the playerbase, and Da Snale probably remembers the last time they tried to “adjust the economy”.
They adjusted the economy because people claimed they couldn’t make money, now you have so much sl your asking to spend it or converting rp. That says to them the economy is now too strong (which it is). And it’s a no brainier sl converts to income for them because people buy it with real money so that has value to them. It would likely increase the cost of SL purchasing too because if it is cheap people would buy sl to convert rp because it could be cheaper then buying gold to convert rp.
Also it effects rp cost because if the economy is affected by cheaply converted rp made easier by an over abundance of SL then the grind times could be reduced below the desired time gaijin has leading to lower rp rewards or more expensive rp grind which they have just gone through pains to adjust for everyone who complained about it. Despite their adjustments they still ahve a desired time they wish for an average tree to progress, cheap converted rp speeds that up and they will correct.

Asked for years? Sure what’s that got to do with what Ive said. It effects the economy no matter how long people have been asking. People have been asking for lots of rubbish in the game for years and thankfully they don’t implement every idea that comes up.
You associated the recent “economy” changes with this suggestion that CRP be purchasable with SL.
There is no economy in WT. Its just how Gaijin throttles player progression and extends the suffer.
No you misunderstood. I used the current change in economy as something that would be effected by the changes you guys are proposing. People demanded more sl because they didn’t have enough to play the game and now your demanding the player be able to convert rp with SL. This indicates there is now too much sl and if they want to keep making money from converting gold to SL it needs to have value. To much sl in the economy and less people buy gold to convert sl. The company loses income. People stop buying GE for SL and now converting RP they lose even more money. Converting GE to the convert SL to buy RP conversion turns up cheaper then converting GE they lose more money. As a result because they are a business they will reduce SL income, increase repair and purchase costs and increase the cost of SL conversion from gold to compensate so it maintains its value and the economy progresses the speed they want while maintaining profits. Simple economics and why this request won’t happen.
