i think you miss understand me i would like it if the AMRAM performed closer to the AAM-4 so outdoing the aim-7M by a bit but it would still be far worse than the MICA, as of right now it has unreasonably bad off the rail performance.
P.S if you use the Rafale you can get 40-50km kill i have done it many times.

AAM-4 is superior to early AMRAAMs in almost every statistic. It is better than the AIM-120C, which is also gimped.

If you’re lucky you’ll get a kill on an afk person but that’s any missile. MICA literally cant hit anything past 30 km if they try to dodge. MICA’s lead on a target will be more than an AMRAAM because 50 G.
Could be Britain. MiG-21 Bison premium had a bug report accepted long ago about it lacking R-77 (here). There’s also the issue of a possible Indian Su-30MKI lol
Just an example, not as evidence. The Japanese MoD don’t really reveal information on their equipment through documents like other countries. They also don’t export them, so the only real sources for newer Japanese things is third-party sources.
You have the same luck factor when shooting any missile around 40-50 km the r 77 –1 and C5 are faster but a target would still have to be pretty much AFK for it to hit or turn away too late.
That’s truly the problem with the reporting anything at this point at least when it comes to these modern missiles gaijin wants very specific values as a valid bug report, but all we can do is say it should be better than this or it should be worse than this and they don’t like that that’s why I haven’t reported it because I know it’s just gonna get thrown in the trash.
