Why do CAS players so vocally oppose any suggestions

So again You haven’t even read what people say.

  1. I would like to see a new gamemode, just for tanks.
  2. I would like to see a proper combined gameplay, with changes to maps and new objectives in current gamemode.

Just a quick summary but again, You have nothing to prove Your own experience, epecially that many things contradict that.

I guess it’s my lack of experience that allows me to counter CAS. What a strange world we live in.
Also it has been explained in great detail many times with tank only is dumb and a waste of time for Gajin.

And lack of knowledge of the world to people belive in flat earth ;).

They too lack any evidence for their empty words.

Its you who said it. It you compared apples and oranges.

Its complete BS. You do not have a chance to shoot down a plane if it comes from 80° angle while you don’t have rooftop MG and even if you have your rooftop MG max angle is 70° you still cannot shoot it down.

Not to mention that if You somehow elevate Yourself to be able to do that, plane can just come from another angle before You can do something about it.

That’s where SPAA should be spawned…

Yes it should, but that was not mentioned in initial comparison so that would be considered as moving goal posts right now.

The problem is letting the plane see you in the first place. Camping in one spot or moving in the open the the easiest way to die to CAS. Coming in from a steep angle needs altitude so they had to know where you were beforehand. SPAA works great against planes (aside from American and Israeli SPAA). The problem with SPAA though is that the majority of ppl who spawn SPAA are noobs who die alot and don’t have SP for a proper tank, and thus do things like staying in spawn where everyone expects them.

Ofc there are maps like Ardennes where you don’t have any cover anywhere near spawn, but that’s Gajin’s horrible map making, and Ardennes players suffer from spawncamping from tanks aswell.

When I play SPAA, I stay as close to my teammates, as I can without being exposed to enemy tanks. The only exceptions being 180m maps where it’s not needed, or maps like Ardennes where there aren’t any open areas that provide cover from tanks (again Ardennes is plagued by Gajin’s map making). Standing next to dead bodies, trees, or buidlings also helps alot.

Much like your lack of knowledge makes you struggle fighting CAS and your lack of evidence means your words have 0 merit.

Again moving goal posts. You made direct comparison which is fauly and I told you about it. SPAA was not mentioned at all nor friendly fighter cover.

But it does solve CAS issue. You obviously were not playing Advance game mode test. There were maybe 3 planes through whole game. Since CAS SP was really high and games were really balanced because players which got to spawn CAS were really careful with it due to really high spawn costs. CAS was still effective but it wasn’t spammed due to high SP.

The fact that your MGs on top of your tank can’t get up high enough to take something out, yet SPAA can, shows that at least 1 of your 16 teammates having SPAA out would take care of that…

But people saying they don’t work, or just die make less people spawn them.

Again moving goal posts. SPAA was not mentioned in initial comparrison. It was only JagdTiger, some US tanks and plane so SPAA is irrelevant to this discussion.

No MGs on the jagd…

Yes I know, thats why I said JagdTiger has very slim chance against plane (no SPAA mentioned) due to that detail.

And that’s why you have teammates who can spawn a multitude of other vehicles…

There’s no moving goalposts, just anti-cas not wanting any sort of points made about how closed they are in thier own mind…

Again, You don’t have anything to back up Your own words, not to mention claims about others.

Come back when You are ready for real discussion.

Because it is better to spawn air as it is more effective against the air.

Yes there is because you cannot make comparisson between JagdTiger, some US tanks and plane without even mentioning SPAA or fighter cover and later on speak about SPAA. Its moving goal posts by definition.

Wasting all those SP when you get shot down…

That really does work out well.

So a player dying in SPAA makes any difference?
