Please tell me how a tank with limited elevation is going to deal with a plane that attacks it from a degree that tank can’t fire at?

Drive up on a rock. I do it all the time in tanks like M-51, Puma, and even tome top tiers like Obj 292.
Then plane attacks from the angle You still can’t fire at, nothing changes.
In tank vs tank combat if a tank is going to shoot at another one, the another one can fire back.

Edit: In all fairness, USA does struggle dealing with CAS, especially from Germany and Russia. Extremely poor SPAA and CAD options (literally not a single usable SPAA between 4.0 and 9.0) and alot of paper-armor tanks. M901 for example has no armor, no MG, and all it gets is 2 I-Tows. Other nations don’t have this problem.

Still doesn’t change the fact that plane can attack You from an angle that You can’t fire at no matter what You do while when fighting a tank he has to allow You to fire back at him if he wants to attack You.

a Jagdtiger has far better chances against a plane than a T26E5, T32, T34, T26E1, M109, M26, Jumbo75/75, M36, M4A3 76, M18, T25, or M4/T26 has against a Jagdtiger, just naming a few.
Because there really isn’t that large of an issue with it.
