Exactly, it has been A decade and we have possibly less game modes now since world war is abandoned and I think there was A ground battle game mode called break, I was never around for break. Gaijin is in the money making business and they would rather spend their money on modeling $80 premium vehicles than make A new game mode. I don’t see any incentive for them to add something new if people keep coughing up ever increasing amounts of money for the premium slop they add. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” is probably what the war thunder devs are thinking when looking at their profits.
You know, the best part about TO mode is that it is just a copy paste of already existing mode just without air units being allowed to spawn in.
Yes, it would not be the end of the world for me if A ground only mode came. I know they could add something better though like A bomber escort mission or historical style battles that could incorporate all tech trees air/ground/naval together. Air rb pacific maps are some of the most rare maps in the game I have played on Midway Peleliu and Iwo Jima 1 single time in my thousands of battles with Japana/USA/British planes, so I would like to see A pacific based game mode.

Because there are no premium ground vehicles that would benefit from luck of air around.
Their premium plane sales would go down as much as the tanks go up, no discernable profits are being made and matchmaking waiting times go up.
Why planes sales would go down if the combined mode would be still around?
Same reason people want A ground only mode, they are scared of skilled CAS players rendering them ineffective.
What does it have to with plane premium sales?
If ground pounders can’t ground pound, they no spend monies on premium ground pounders

They still can in already existing combined mode. TO would not delete any mode.

You would stand to gain more ground if you stop pretending that adding a new mode would have no impact on the game as it is now.
It’s intellectually dishonest to keep insisting that dividing the ground player base won’t have any effect on player experience.
Maintaining this charade makes it harder to take your cause seriously.

So please tell us how it would impact it and why is that so.
The players in mixed battles won’t be bringing in A plane 2.0 brs lower than all their tanks, so the air aspect will be more contested and competitive and not just some moron who brings A stuka with their tiger tank and slams into the ground (though I am sure this will still happen) because they have nothing in their air tree ground out.
