I find this to be true yet they still throw it up as a answer to not having a TO game of GRB.

The ADATS should be able to work just fine without radar, but it isn’t implemented that way.

Sure. And some CAS, upon seeing multiple tanks near each other will suicide in to make sure their two bombs are on target, taking out multiple tanks. For other CAS they only carry one 4K or 5K bomb, and can only take out 4 to 6 tanks at a time.
Other CAS has the problem that they can only set a tank on fire or kill the tank’s crew with their MGs, and sometimes have to make multiple passes to kill a given ground vehicle.
In any case, I have found I get more SL by a lot by flying, as opposed to staying on the ground. (Despite my age and arthritis and lack of head tracking hardware) If it pays better for me to fly, this isn’t ground combat, it’s air raid mode.
I’m going to suggest that, even hardcore tankers give it a try. Maybe practice a bit in the PVE missions and get good enough not to be completely fail before trying it in GFRB, but you might also find you can make more SLs by flying. (Fair warning, though, if everyone is in the air, then it’s basically dogfighting time!)
No sense staying on the ground if you’re going to be just one of the few targets there, though.

It has nothing to do with them playing CAS, you just want an excuse to be angry.
just use “Air Alert!”. It tells you the direction and altitude of a aircraft, even one you can’t see, for free.
Yup, its just a salty/toxic player who decided to teamkill which just happens to be on a CAS vehicle. Not much we can do about it, friendlies shot my Nuke many times, friendlies bullied me with a tank by ramming my smaller tank against a wall, friendlies pushed me to the river to drown, friendlies bombed me, friendlies purposely shooting smoke at me for salty reasons. Not a matter about CAS but a matter of toxic players doing their thing on ruining others gameplay.
Maybe don’t group up into easy target blobs?

When You look at the aircraft and use it then it tells You that.
Otherwise it doesn’t do anything.

I usually just look in the general direction of the enemy airspawn and hit it every now and then. Reduces the element of surprise of enemy air attacks.

Doesn’t change that You need to aim at the target in order for air alert to work.
You can’t just click it and have it magically working.

It’s enough to look into the general direction of the target.
It works even when they are behind hills, low flight behind hills, mountains, terrain, tree lines just as long as we face to their direction. Probably won’t work if they a bit far, but once they close enough it works without seeing them yet.

Just look in the aircraft’s general direction and use it. It works even if he’s behind mountains or too far to see. Also very useful for detecting helis.

The truck is huge and doesn’t seam to accelerate at all

Bullshit. ground works fine on its own , it did before CAS.
the amount of deaths to some douche in aircraft way off is smothering the gameplay.
easiest solution is to remove cas completely …
im so tired of the constant bombing i could care less aboutr the cas players at htis point.
if they wanna CAS give them their own mode and spare the tank players they griefing.

That’s why you seem upset—your bias towards your own perspective is preventing you from seeing the bigger picture.
The game is advertised as it is, and you need to adapt. Use anti-air or spawn a helicopter/plane to counter the other CAS.
When I encounter games where I’m overwhelmed by CAS, I just accept the loss and move on to the next game. Sometimes there are six planes in the air, so I bring out my anti-air and manage to get four kills.
It is what it is.

Skill Issue. Learn to use SPAA or CAP.

Rather than wasting breath demanding the removal of CAS to soothe your hurt fee-fees, advocate for better and more SPAA.

You can also always just uninstall and move along if you can’t cope with the game.
