CAS dominate games by allowing low-skilled players to easily destroy high-skill player and snowball matches out of control due to them having more spawn points.
And those stats seem BS to me. But in any case, most people just rush in quickly and die so they aren’t affected by CAS much. But the people who get a good position and get a few kills will be hounded constantly.
I havent play a lot of low tier in a bit but at around 9.7-10.3, those stats fit with my experience. I get a good number of matches with little to no cas. A couple with get cas spam though. Most seem to get 1-2 kills before dying.
It is funny how random cas targeting is too. Sometimes i will get swarmed by cas and other time i can sit in an open field in an open top with no issues.
I would love for gaijin to actually improve grb mechanics before any new game mode is considered. There are a few things that could help a lot. At least they are finally adding the different brs for grb/arb.
Easy. Spawn a fighter, they are cheap. Or are you trying to tell me that a player, who is sooo bad that he needs to rely on an 850+ SP vehicle to get kills did better than you and you can’t even spawn a 500 SP vehicle?
He is in a SPAA that so say is a counter, first he has to earn SP, then he has to die and do all this before said plane returns to his airfield under his aaa bubble. So how does he do it
So the CAS-player (or simply put: “War Thunder player”), who according to the tank purists is too bad to play tanks properly and needs aircraft to feel good about himself managed to gather 850 SP for his LGB carrier by playing a tank, before the elite gigachad tanker managed to gather 550 SP?
Im a believer in letting players make there own tactical decisions. I believe all units should cost the same but ammo should cost respective ie a gub could cost 1 million dollers a pop
If he is in an SPAA with insufficient range, he chose an inappropriate response to the threat. He could just as well have spawned a tank to get some work done on the ground.
For about 90% of the game it is. Fighters are a better choice though, especially at top tier. For anyone who doesn’t deliberately cripple his lineups this should pose no problem though. It is only problematic for those, who came to War Thunder without wanting to play War Thunder.
I would like to know how many SPAA have a 90% kill rate, yet alone 90% K/D. I am still waiting for an answer to my question how does 1 counter a aircraft while its out of range in SPAA
I never mentioned a “90% kill rate”. What is that even supposed to be? 90% of SPAA get a kill before their death? That would be a 0.9 kd, whereas the only available statistics indicate that SPAA kill more than twice the amount of aircraft than the other way around.
The kd stats of SPAA on sites such as thunderskill do not show exchange rates with aircraft. ;)
You said for about 90% of the game, show me this evidence of 90% that you mention, and i am still wanting to know how do i counter a aircraft out of range in my SPAA and said aircraft does not need to come in range of my SPAA to be affective
